I’m so disappointed that my loan has been changed to this company already after seeing these reviews. Been on hold for hours just trying to get to someone to help me. Pathetic company.

Awful company! I have been trying to refinance my home for 6 months now. Got a great rate but the process has been such a headache. every month they don't get it done, they ask for recent paystubs for my husband and myself. I give them what they need and then they ask for it again but with a shorter deadline. I am now in the situation where they gave me a 24 hour window to get them documents but didn't get the email until after that 24 hour window. They set you up to fail! The appraisal process was awful as well. They sent someone to look at the house but apparently after the appraisal, no one could get a hold of her, so they had to send another person 2 weeks later. I honestly think they just wanted to send a second to value the house lower! My representative also wont call me herself, I keep getting calls from 3rd party people and when I go to call her she never answers the phone or returns my calls after I leave voicemails. Now Im in the situation where they didn't get the paystubs in time and not have to run credit again and has to have bank statements. FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY! My original loan was sold to this company so if you have a choice, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!. I would give no stars but its not possible.

This place doesnt even deserve a one star! I have been trying to refinance my home for over 6 months now! It has been nothing but third party callers and them losing my documents which in turn goes past the desired turn in date so they have to do an extension on it! Now im left in limbo waiting for someone on my loan to answer my questions! I have been emailing and calling for a week now and no one has gotten back to me! I am fed up with this place. DON'T WASTE YOU TIME WITH THIS COMPANY, FIND SOMEONE ELSE! ANYONE ELSE!

My home loan has been transferred from Amerihome Mortgage to this company. Amerihome Mortgage was the worst company I have ever dealt with. Pure incompetence when dealing with their so called customer service team. I came to read the reviews of this new company that has been thrown on us and I see they are on the same level as Amerihome Mortgage by the reviews. I noticed that the response to all the reviews are the same.. so it seems that if there is a bad review then there is a standard response they give. Home ownership is one of the most important experiences you have in life yet these companies treat home owners as if the financing of their home isn’t important and the clients concerns don’t seem to be a sense of urgency. It’s appalling.

I am so upset now. I got a a letter stating that my monthly mortgage is going to be an extra $572.65 for 12 months?! I need someone to contact me ASAP. No one is answering phones I sent a message and no responses. This is insane.

Do not do business with Freedom Mortgage. After purchasing my mortgage loan they removed $3058 from my escrow. for over a month I made calls and messaged them asking for the money to be returned to my escrow account. They never did.

I’ve been trying to refinance my loan for several months now. Today I was called yet again to be told my refinancing closure will need to be delayed for the fourth time. It’s extra frustrating because every time they fix the hold-up, they have me reschedule the closing for several weeks out and then wait until the day of the rescheduled closing to realize they forgot to do something. I highly recommend using a smaller business for mortgages, one where one person handles the whole process and not a million different departments that don’t communicate with each other.

I have received nothing but discrepancy and dog chasing tail excuses, this is not a place you want handling you mortgage, very shady deals here, buyers beware. I changed Insurance Companies and without my wife and I permission they took money from our escrow and mailed it to @USAA but USAA said they have never received any payment other then that which I paid thru the APP. Not only have I not had my emails returned from June 14th and 23rd I was on hold for over two hours today only to be transferred to a depart that had been closed two hours, I am going to post this review and all the other 1 star ⭐ reviews all over my social media accounts and go to my local investigating reporters this should be against the law.

I have been working with them since January 27th, I'm writing this on May 21st. I have failed to close 3 times because of their inability to correctly spell names on all of the paperwork. The communication is terrible. I have always been the one to call to get any kind of information. I have been lied to over and over again, and there seems to be no remorse felt for any action that has negatively impacted the situation. They were recommended to me, but by no means will I EVER recommend Freedom Mortgage to anyone. If I was able to put 0 stars, I would have.

I have been working on a refi since jan 29th. I never had an issue until the refi process. I've spoke with at least 15 reps in a 4 1/2 month timeframe. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Im constantly calling to follow-up on where we are. My closing has been delayed twice at no fault of my own. My rate and credit report expired and if was expected to pay for another credit report and rate extension. I was told oh we will just roll it into your loan. I will not pay for your untimely service. I decided to go with them because they were already over my loan and if wouldn't have to pay for another appraisal (they lied). When they ran my credit this time my score was higher however there was no better rate offered. The 1st scheduled closing may 24th the notary never showed up. Come to find out the file never left the desk after the CD was signed and they never contacted the notary. So that pushed it out to Friday june 11th. For my own peace of mind i called freedom that Tuesday to ensure closing was going to happen. It wasn't until then did I find out closing would be rescheduled. No one could give a reason... They've promised calls and emails but again I heard nothing from them. Im constantly told the escalation department is trying to expedite the process...its back in the underwriters hands...the closing department should be calling with a closing date...today I was told it looks like something internal with the credit score🤦♀️ my score today is way higher that when I purchased almost 2 yrs ago its also higher than when I started the refinancing process 4.5 months ago. Ive never seen such an incompetent mortgage company!
