First Tech Federal Credit Union 108th Ave, Bellevue

I tried for a couple weeks to work with an insurance agent at First Tech insurance Services at this branch to get a quote on Home & Auto insurance. She was not very responsive (and never answered her phone) nor very helpful when it came to looking at the different options. She told me that because of our vehicle's rebuilt title that we could not use oregon mutual insurance, which was the carrier I was leaning towards. I eventually switched to a different agent at first tech who was more responsive and eventually ended up using a different agency altogether. That agency was able to get me the home & auto policy that I wanted with Oregon mutual without issue. Seems they either aren't thorough or not willing to look at all options. Lots of back and forth without any real progress.

I usually never write reviews. But I have to write this, for anyone looking to check this branch out. I went to this branch about a month ago and meet A lady called Ritu. She was really helpful with everything she made sure no stone was unturned. I definitely recommend her to anyone that has questions especially about credit card and personal loans check Ritu out. You’ll be in good hands.

Recently I visited Bellevue branch for notary appointment and got a chance to meet Ritu Jakhu. she is a great human being, kind and knowledgeable, also guided and suggested me best financial service and options for my existing account. Deserve 0 stars for this bank. The bank keeps charging me $5 monthly inactivity fee without any written notice. I used to use this debit card to do some p2p transactions due to the covid, there isn't too much usage of this card. The representative refused to refund the fee for the inactivity. I'm going to close the account and never use First Tech in the future. Pretty disappointing experience!

I have visited this branch and got appointment with banker Ritu Jakhu. She was very kind enough to answer your questions and banking needs very nicely. I was able to do Notary service and Money withdrawal in one go along with some good suggestions for your money savings on weekly basis.

First tech has always been one of my favorite banks to do business with. On at least 3 instances they were able to help me consolidate debt and offer useful viable solutions to personal loans / credit cards. I get the sense that their primary objective is to run their bank in a way that's in the best interest of the consumer, and not the other way around. Ritu was of great help in resolving several of the issues i was facing and offered great solutions on financial planning and consolidation of debt. She was also able to help offset some payments on account of issues faced during this Covid Pandemic. As a result I'm seeing a uptick in my credit scores, have multiple cards at 0 balance and also able to increase my savings. It's also a big plus to have personalized support via phone / email as opposed to this inanimate process of calling a toll-free number and having to wait for a random executive speak with you!

I opened an account year ago to use for zello rent pay and small things. I got sepsis and multiple organ failure. Needless to say I was busy fighti my illnesses and didn’t use my accounts. First tech took all of my money at $5 fees each month for in activity and when I called to ask for help or at least close my account since I can’t use it. They said not only did they take all of my money but I owed money of fees that they overdrafted for inactivity. Extremely disappointing and disheartening.

Worked with Ritu Jakhu for notary and had very nice experience. She was very cordial, professional and knowledgeable and answered all our banking questions nicely.
