First State Community Bank Parkway, Festus

Went to the Festus location today with the intent of opening two new accounts since the service at our current bank has steadily gone down hill for years. Waited for over 20 minutes without a single word from any ot the employees before we left. The person that was supposed to help us (Jourdan) was tied up with a mother and daughter and the branch manager was busy playing on her computer and talking on the phone. If this is how they treat you before they have your business, I can only imagine how you would be treated after we had become customers.

Called ahead to cash my check at 4 pm lady said they were open so I pulled into the drive thru and she's in there doing nothing knows I'm there I pressed the call button and I see her through the window just walk off pretending she can't hear the ring. Very poor service what a joke 😅

I transferred to this bank last year after my other bank was bought out by a larger one. So far, they have been the best bank I've ever dealt with. They are easy to contact, ATM works well, and their online banking is easy to use. Update 9/2019: Annoyed at this bank because they don't keep their night deposit envelopes in stock. Hard to actually deposit my checks and such when there are no envelopes. Went to 2 different branches this weekend and BOTH WERE OUT! Had to use my own envelope and just write all over it. Hope that works.

Been banking here for years and never had any problems at all. Always short lines, great quick service. I have commerce too and its definitely my favorite of the two!

It has been a pleasure to do business with them. I am so accustomed to dealing with the mega banks that it is such a breath of fresh air to deal with a bank that truly has that home bank feel. We are going to be moving all of the rest of our accounts to them very soon. I am extremely pleased with service and sincerity they provide to the customer.
