Like others, I have stayed with the bank through its three transitions for the 16 years I have been living in Oregon. I stayed because of staff, people who are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They know who I am and take care of my banking needs 1uickly, especially Debra Ingram, the manager, and Christina, a senior service rep. I just lost my home to fire, and I cannot say enough about how this branch in particular has responded. Everyone has a bad day and perhaps those who have given negative reviews hit the bank at the wrong time. However, over time, I have found the service to be consistently exceptional.
Thank you for your thoughtful review, Anitah. We're so sorry for your loss, and it's good to hear the branch helped during this difficult time.

Bad Service, employés teller need training in customer servivce. Good afternoon. I wish to report that today I was improperly treated at your bank branch located at 2305 Ashland St. Suite B, Ashland Or 97520 by the teller Bernice Manzano, who did not have the capacity to make a transaction to deposit my check in another account . First I gave her in writing the account number to which the deposit should be made, but she could not find the number of the account, because I only showed her the last eight digits, just as I have done previously there. Because of this, another employee of a desk approached, a thin older woman, dark hair, to investigate what happened. I explained to her about my transaction and she was quite rude in answering me. My husband and I have had our accounts since Bank Cascadas about six years ago, and it is the first time that I have encountered inefficient employees without access to public service. Train your staff, otherwise, change banks and we will let our friends know. Employees must understand that without clients, they do not have a job. Customer service is very important, and above all, education. Thank you for your attention.

I have been with this bank trough several transitions from Bank of America to Bank of Cascadews to First Interstate bank. The people that work there are amazing! They have always been there for me and go above and beyond to help. I have never experienced such a personal touch from a bank.
Aww, thanks Jared. We do love our clients :)

Teller was unbelievably rude and condescending- I thought maybe it was just the telebankers on the phone... but it appears the company policy regarding being rude to customers is a trickle-down affair with First Interstate- the manager I spoke with on the phone, after waiting on hold for 20 minutes (not exaggerating) actually said "We didn't ask for these new branches out in Oregon" I laughed out-loud- "Well, We certainly didn't ask for you! you were thrust upon us." Time to close this account- Chase and USAA have NEVER remotely treated me the way these people have... they act like they are doing you some big favor by interacting with you-

do you enjoy lots of issues with your banking? do you like hassles? calling 5 times in 10 days with no resolution to your problems? do you enjoy long wait times? terrible customer service? if you do,, this would be a great bank for you! if you don't... you should go else where because these people are the worst..

Needed cash for transportation as I was visiting Ashland. Bank of the cascades ATM Charged me $8.00 in fees without consent! Insert card and it asks me if I want a balance inquiry. No fee warning. I think why not and it spits out a receipt and my card. Then I make a withdrawal and consent to a $3.00 fee. The next day I see I was charged the following : $3.00 for the "withdrawal fee" $2.50 for an "ATM fee" $2.50 for a balance inquiry ALL FROM BANK OF THE CASCADES That's $8.00 for one ATM visit and $5 of those were not disclosed to me! The machine said there would be a $3.00 fee when I made the withdrawal, which I think is a lot but standard. Pure greed and deceit. Feel totally exploited and I know there is nothing I can do to get my money back.

A rinky dink outfit in just about all respects - apparently, they can't even afford to put up a sign street-side to announce their presence, and recently ended Saturday business hours. I can't imagine what will be next after their recent "surprise" sale - wouldn't be surprised if they closed the branch.

Ragingly inept. I keep my real money with another bank now and just use these people to run my daily expenses since this bank has changed hands twice in a year. Basically a case study in how not to do customer service.

Transition was poorly executed. Lots of challenges. Now Cash limit is $500 at one time, 2x daily. Going to get a new bank.
