First Citizens Bank N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa

This bank bought HomeBanc and the conversion appears to be a disaster. They provided new account number and credentials for online access but once I completed set-up says I have no accounts. This is after making a sizable deposit in person two weeks ago. When calling this branch can't get a human to pick up. Will have to drive back to Tampa tomorrow and wait in the lobby for an hour to get noticed by one of their bankers.

Homebanc was great first citizens bank sucks. I had overdraft protection so Homebanc would take it out of my money market account if I bounced a check. First citizens made me apply for a credit line and then denied me based on my bankruptcy 6 years ago....... Even though I have I've $20,000.00 in savings and money markets. Needless to say I will be closing my accounts.

Being military, have had this bank since 1996, in all my travels have never changed and they have faithfully followed me around the world, glad they have a branch here in Tampa. Have never had an issue

Best bank friendly tellers, not like your traditional banks where you’re just a number. Here they care for you and egar to help in anyway possible with 1 on 1 support not behind a wall or screen.

Very poor. One star may be too much. Completely unresponsive. "24 hour" number hangs up on you when you make any selection. (4 calls on 3 different phones including a landline) Calls to the branch go to voicemail, during regular business hours mind you. Call the number on the back of your card, they say you have to call the branch... Holding my money hostage and then dodging the customer is not a way to endear yourselves to customers homebanc!

This is a nice bank. There is a very personal feel when walking into the branch, and they treat me very well.

After they bought homebanc customer service is terrible and I am unable to close my account because I can not verify a transaction as I haven’t had acces to it since the merger do not bank here
