Omg!!!!! Now this didn't make any sense!!!! My account was overdraft in which occurred $108. I went to the teller machine, went through the whole menu, put the money inside the account, and at the end of the proceed with the transaction, it was "denied" of putting the money in the account to cover the overdraft fee! But, the account is still open! Now i went into the bank Monday morning, and was told to do the same exact thing in which i was trying to do Sunday night! but what difference does it make if i talk to a machine, then a non talking machine? And on top of that, had to wait for dam near 30 minutes just to pay on my overdraft account! I HATE THIS CREDIT UNION!!! And them talking teller machines, NEED TO GET RID OF THEM, SERVES NO PURPOSE.....

If you enjoy waiting in line and dealing with your banking needs to a ATM Machine with a TV Screen...this place is for you! ZERO Customer Service, account closed in less than a week.

Learned about GTE when I financed a car. GTE's rates and terms were outstanding. Went to a branch to learn more. Met Mr. Carson and opened up a checking account for personal and business. Follow up isn't something I've found they're good at. Neither voice mail or email.

WORST BANK EVER. Listen carefully because I'm about to save you money: When you make a payment toward a loan and you pay over, MAKE SURE you make it clear to the teller you want the overage to be applied to THE PRINCIPLE because by default they won't do it. Apparently, for years all my payments were not being applied correctly, WORST BANK EVER. Do not bank here.

I deposited cash into this ATM. It didn’t account for $180 . After over a week they finally credited me $100 and was told that was all they can do. Can’t close my account fast enough. Keep the $80 as a donation to your sorry excuse of a business .

I first was surprised to see 2 stars. After costly forced placed policy on my deceased Mothers house, zero follow up service and employee turnover causing me to repeat my actions, I think 2 star may be too high. My family has banked here for at least 25 years, makes no difference

Failed attempt to go "digital", which has translated into a drive through that doesn't accept 3rd party checks, so you have to go inside and wait in line for one of the 2 unmanned machines to deposit anything coming from any other bank (you know, like the ones the rest of the world uses). Switching all my transactions to BoA as soon as I get home.

On 7/1/2013, I withdrew $1000 from my account at GTE Financial on S. Dale Mabry and was given 10 $100 bills at the drive thru. The next day while attempting to deposit the money into a bank account at BB&T, one of the $100 bills I received from GTE was found to be counterfeit. I went back to GTE and was told that my money would not be refunded. I was told GTE has a system to ensure that this situation will not happen, but it did to me. If you receive counterfeit money from your own bank, how are you to have confidence it will not occur again? I am upset that I had my money taken/stolen from me by my banking institution and management will not do the right and honorable thing and return it. GTE is no longer trustworthy to me.

I love GTE and everyone at this location, Christian always help me and is very patient with me.

I opened a new account because they have a checking account that meets my needs even though I wasn’t very happy with the experience. Their lobby didn’t allow for privacy. I felt embarrassed for customers discussing overdraft fees in front of everyone coming in the front door and those of us sitting a few feet away. We could also overhear conversations with the tele-cashiers from the lobby. Unfortunately hearing these conversations it was easy to hear everyone’s complaints while waiting several minutes to be served. One gentleman, tired of waiting, kept getting up to leave but staff encouraged him to wait. Once I got with an in person teller I was impressed with her friendliness and knowledge of the options available for me, even though I couldn’t keep everything straight. I appreciate that she walked me through using their computer based tellers. It’s less relationship oriented but I understand how it prevents bank robberies. I’m hesitant about this bank, but I decided to try it out. I like how they have sharing relationships with other credit unions across America. That’s important to me. I also appreciated the parking garage to avoid the heat.
