    On 1/27/21 my husband drove from Richmond Hts to the Willoughby branch at 7am to use the ATM so that we would avoid an ATM fee. Even though the ATM was working, it would not allow him to withdraw money from our checking or savings account. So naturally, he got a balance inquiry to see if we had enough to cover the withdrawal (we had more than enough).He left, frustrated and then we realized we were charged a $.75 fee for the balance inquiry when we couldn't even access OUR MONEY. I called today 1/29/21 and spoke to Alicia who told me that it's OUR job to review their entire fee schedule to know when we're going to be charged and that there was nothing she could do about the fee. Yes, it's only $.75, however it was also my husband's time, gas, and the inconvenience that he couldn't even access OUR OWN MONEY (and yes we're FFCCU members and have been for YEARS) only to be told that it was our own fault for not knowing the fee schedule and nothing could be done about it. Terrible customer service and I'm definitely considering removing all 6 of our accounts and finding a better place to do business.

    Over the last year, my account balance, checking in particular, is never what I think it's going to be on a week to week basis. It took 3 months for my tax refund to clear, and now I'm starting to miss paychecks from direct deposit. I'm closing all my accounts asap, and switching to another bank.

    I have had a car loan with FFCCU for a year. I cannot make on line payments unless I have an account with a certain amount of money in it or set up an auto - withdrawl. The first time I tried to make a payment I was unaware of this and was charged a late fee - and had to pay extra for making a payment over the phone. I received the most lame excuses for their archaic technology from everyone I complained to. I cannot wait to pay this loan off (early!) and start working with a financial institution that lives in the 21st century. Update at 4:26pm Friday, June 15th Just received another lame response repeating the useless options for payment - and they DID charge me a late fee despite my continuous efforts to pay on time. Every place I've ever worked with has an online payment option with no strings....except for this place. Consumers.... think about that before you get involved in a loan with FFCCU!!

    Hi Joe. There is actually a 10-day grace period for our consumer loans, and you, nor any other member, will be charged a late fee until the payment is more than 10 days past its due date. This is quite generous and affords our members plenty of time to pay and avoid a fee once they are already late. You are able to pay and have the opportunity to set up automatic payments in the following ways: Set up your payment on an automatic transfer. This will be the easiest “set and forget” option. The majority of our borrowers do this. If you aren’t interested in having your checking or savings with us, you could consider having a deposit sent to the credit union from your employer in the amount of your payment. We could even set it up on a biweekly payment plan if that aligns with your pay cycle and budgeting better. Set it up on an automatic bill pay service as a recurring entry. We offer such a service to our members free of charge. You may have access to a similar service. Mail in a check. Not the most convenient option but still an option for some members. Pay in branch. We have 7 branches around the area and also participate in shared branching making many other credit union branches available to conduct business. Our website has a locator tool where you could search for a convenient branch. ACH origination – we can set up a recurring entry where the credit union can go out on a designated day each month and pull the funds from your deposit account elsewhere to make your loan payment via the Automated Clearing House. There is generally a small one-time fee to set this up but we would be glad to waive this to assist you in making your future payments painless if you like this option. You can also consider opening our Advantage Checking account to earn money on your average monthly balance. You could then make payments in real-time online, or using our mobile app. We hope this helps you with your payments.

    Giving even 1 star is being nice. I have never been treated with such dissrepect. I have never met a group of such an unhelpful staff. I have been trying to close my dececed mother's account for MONTHS now, being treated as if I am a criminal. I understand confidentiality, however they are not even helpful. They were very uncompationate given the situation. Perhaps the people that I dealt with need to choose a different profession. I am completely discusted with the employee's at this branch. It is rediculous!

    Online payment is a nightmare. And most times I've dealt with front desk it has left a bad taste in my mouth. The employees don't care. The only good reviews left on the Google review was undoubtedly generated from the company itself .

    I got what I needed done but it was the most impersonal experience I’ve ever had at any financial institution. I felt like an inconvenience. If you’ve ever had to deal with the clerks at the courthouse in Cleveland, it is the same experience.

    This bank is absolutely terrible do not do business with them. I’ve never had such difficulty accessing my own money from any of my other financial institutions. Closing my accounts absolutely terrible service !!!!

    The teller there must have tenure. She is not pleasant to deal with and any time I’ve gone there, I’ve had a bad experience. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels that way. Never got the warm and fuzzies, and I’m sure that’s why it’s always empty in there anytime I go.
