I had searched far and wide for a fee only Fiduciary in the Raleigh/Cary area and I'm so glad I found Financial Symmetry. I've worked with a couple of financial advisors in the past 10 years and Financial Symmetry is by far the best. Their professionalism, communication and transparency are second to none. My previous experience with financial companies had left me feeling like a number and not a client. The same can't be said with Financial Symmetry. Everyone we've encountered at the company has been friendly, informed and straight forward. I am so happy that my wife and I had found this company and look forward to many more years with them.

I’ve been a Financial Symmetry (FSI) client since late 2013. When having early discussions with FSI, I didn’t initially think that I needed them to develop a financial plan for me as I was just interested in having someone “manage my money”. Ultimately, I did agree to have them do a plan and I am thankful I did as that plan has proven invaluable and serves as my roadmap to financial success. FSI has provided outstanding advice in all facets of personal finance including asset allocation, diversification, portfolio design, tax planning and efficiency, and behavioral finance guidance. They are a fee only fiduciary financial planning firm that puts the client’s interest first. Even without considering the gains in the equity markets over the last 6 years, they have provided services and value far exceeding the fee they charge. Everyone I have worked with at FSI is professional, conscientious, and highly competent. In summary, since becoming a Financial Symmetry client, my financial health has significantly improved, and the FSI team has been instrumental in this progress. I highly recommend FSI to anyone that is motivated to get their finances in order and to solidify a plan for their future financial success.

I paid a lot of money for a "financial plan" and maybe my expectations were not realistic but what I got was a "financial projection" based upon data input into a computer program. I have even found what appear to be several "errors" in the input data which would affect the projection. I had them corrected once but believe there are more, so in the end I feel like I received a very expensive product of questionable value to me as I plan for retirement. On the plus side the people I dealt with were very cooperative, accommodating and pleasant to work with.

We met with Cameroon and he made it very clear for us what are our next steps and when we should take them. I was very lost without those advices. But now I feel empowered instead.

Good for the Basics only.....take your data, put into system, spit out report...If you are at all saavy, you will be dissapointed.
