Arrived to the bank 5:28pm and when I went to pull on the door it was already locked even though they close at 5:30. I went up to the window at the drive through and they just ignored me. I told them it was not even 5:30 yet and that what they were doing was wrong. I used to work at 53 myself and I we always had the doors open till the last minute. I told them this and all they did was shut the blinds on my face. Terrible service and lack of respect. No wonder so many employees including myself quit.

Margarita, one of the tellers, was condescending and rude instead of trying to find a simple solution to my issue. She even said my bank account balance out loud with customers right next to me. I was very uncomfortable and did not like how she was talking to me. She was unapologetic and I have never experienced this and I've been with Fifth third since 2014!

I went to 53rd in Lawrence/pulaski to get a temporary card cashier told me to wait in the lobby I sat down for 45 min the lady she is a banker come and tell me she doesn't have time now go to an other 53rd she sat down talking on the phone I waited patiently ask her if I wait for 10 more min will she take me she is very rude she said I get to choices either go to an other branch or come back an other day I feel so disappointed I was in MB and switched to 53rd for more than 10 years no respect, no customer service I always felt frustration I always let it go but today 12/4/22 so disrespectful, loyalty

After a couple of experiences, I am frustrated. I went in to discuss a loan a couple weeks ago. I was told to wait, but after 20 minutes of no one talking to me or assuring me on a timeframe, I left figuring they were too busy that day. I came back another day and was able to talk with a banking rep who said he would need manager assistance as the loan was more complicated, but she would call asap. Five days later, no call. When I try to call the bank to talk to anyone, every single time, the line hangs up on me. I shouldn't have to go again in person just to talk with someone about this when they have all the info. So I give up. There are other Fifth Thirds with better customer service.

Since I opened my account with 53 account I always go to this branch to cash my work checks never a problem I went in today and the teller tells me I can only deposit my check I cant cash it the teller was very rude and unprofessional when I asked why. I kinda of think I was being profiled by the teller not sure if I’ll continue business with 53

I hate that this branch is the only one closest to me. I have my business and personal checking and savings account with fifth third bank and live in Mayfield area. From having 100% satisfaction from my old 5.3 banks in Crystal lake customer service and 100% at the brickyars.. This has to be the worst bank service ever. On top of it, I had to go in one day and they refused my 3 year daughter to use the bathroom. I'm a customer coming into so service. My neighbors were very right when they called them the ghetto 5.3 of Chicago!

Customer service - specifically the guy Marcelino is horrible and rude and has no idea how to treat business customers or how to look at business accounts and won't ask for help. Avoid this branch at all costs. He needs to be removed from his position, I am sure there are many people that would be happy to have his job.

I hate coming here I have my account with my car note here. Every time I come to make a deposit I always her for about 30- 40 minutes I always have my kids with me and it's sucks. They always only have one teller! They really need to hire more staff or the ones that are there need to help. I'm right now I'm the drive thru window it's about 79 degrees outside and all I need to do is make a deposit. Then the machine are my debit card cause it was expired. I just learned they have one in lincolnwood I'll be going there for now on!

We have encountered the Manager of this Branch which is Gricel Benavides who is not very nice and nor customer friendly. We are asking question that we don’t know and she answered very disrespectful manner.

I have been to different banks and hands down to the person that help me from beginning to end she was focused on me and what I needed she showed me how to use my debit and credit card and made me a plan on how she will help me save more money she also teached me many benefits no one had ever told me from the time I had this account I never knew I can protect my children identity at my bank .
