Worst credit union in the area, if you live in the area please do yourself a favor and join Member's First as they treat their customers ten times better with loans and rates.

Family savings use to be a great bank. They have fallen short of that the last few years. I’ve recently had a mistake on their end where they voided a check I wrote that was over 180 days. It even shows on their checks itself, void after 180 days. They put that money back into my account, stating why after 180 days if a person doesn’t cash the check it goes back to you. Well yesterday I check my account and it’s negative and they lied to me. They allowed that person to cash that check, even though they told me that it was my money again and that I was allowed to use it and all. Now they won’t fix their wrong and put my money back. Now bc of them I’m negative in my account and won’t be paid again till next week. They will not fix their wrong. I highly suggest to anyone who has thought about banking with them, to think other wise. My husband and I have been with them for a good 8 years and now will be leaving. They don’t care about their customers like they once did.

If I could give zero stars I would. This bank as a whole has THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have a car loan with this bank for a vehicle that was purchased in July. I traded the car in on another vehicle in September. Family Savings never completed the title process on the vehicle that I financed through them. I have been calling for weeks and have also been into the Hiram branch trying to get help resolving this issue. I was actually told two weeks ago that they would finally have the title on Friday and would have the issue taken care of. Here I am two weeks later and I am back at square one because as of yesterday they don’t have the title and hadn’t even made an attempt to get the title until I went into the office AGAIN. Elaine, the branch manager offered no solutions and took absolutely zero responsibility for their lack of follow through. It is their job to complete the title process. They didn’t. They were made aware on multiple occasions that there was an issue. It was their job to follow through. Again they did not. I am still responsible for paying two car loans because they have not done their jobs plain and simple. Six more weeks of no solution means that I am still responsible for paying the car loan (both of which are over $400) that can’t be paid off until they complete the title process. They could care less. I asked Elaine for the name of someone over her she gave me a card with the customer service number said to ask for a loan clerk. There is no accountability I called and specifically asked to speak with a human being not a voicemail. I was sent to voicemail three different times by three different people. There is no help I am stuck with the local branch that has continually dropped the ball. It wouldn’t be so bad if they had of made an effort at all to help me originally but after so many attempts with no results I have absolutely no faith in this bank because each time I have reached out they just told something that sounded good so I would go away. Unfortunately after this experience I don’t have one good thing to say about this bank and would definitely NOT recommend them to anyone.

If I could give this place a ZERO I ABSOLUTELY would!!! I never ever leave bad reviews, but I am HIGHLY offended and disgusted over the lack of communication this credit union has. THREE days ago I applied for a car loan. Haven’t heard anything or got an answer. (Let me point out I expressed it was important that I had an answer by the weekend due to reasoning for car purchase. I expressed this before we began the process) FAYE DUBLEY or however you spell her name said that would be NO PROBLEM. That she would call me an hour or two after she ran my credit and have an at answer. This is my first time applying for a loan and the whole reason I chose it was because I felt like she made it painless. Until my credit went down a significantly and I was freaking ghosted! I get it. Times are weird right now, and I know I am not the only person..but I had to call and call to finally get an answer (yesterday) and Faye acted as if she didn’t even know who I was. Then said “ok let me look into it and give you a call right back” and guess what?? NEVER CALLED. Guess who’s closed all weekend and I don’t have an answer! Ding ding! Ridiculous! So thank you SO much for your help Faye.

I've been dealing with this credit union for about 3 months trying to find a new vehicle. While it was difficult to find the right vehicle that would fit my income, the people here were very patient with me and worked with me until I found the right one. Once I found the right truck they gave me an incredible rate vs what the dealership was offering(Wells Fargo) and made the payment arrangements very easy. So if you looking for an older used vehicle/or newer, have decent credit, and live in Paulding County this is the place that will help you make it happen without taking advantage of you. A rare thing these days.

THEY ARE ALWAYS CLOSED!!! They close early on Wednesdays, not open at all on Saturday anymore, and close at 5pm every other day. Just Googled hours for two other banks (to see if 5pm is normal) and both were open until 6 pm today and open Saturday, guess what... they don't close early on Wednesdays either! The drive through tellers never get in a hurry, (I GO THROUGH THE DRIVE THROUGH BECAUSE I'M IN A HURRY)! But other than that customer service is pretty decent but nothing over the top. My husband and I are currently looking for another bank. O and while posting this review 3 customers other than myself circled the building (in hopes of them being open). Dk what's up with such terrible hours but seems like this may cause them to lose more that just our business.
