    I’ve been a member for several years, have a checking and savings account, and have financed most of my vehicles through Eagle. Every interaction with staff (and the online platforms messaging feature) have been great. They’re quick to respond and deliver on their promise to follow up, email, or call back. My most recent experiences have been with Michael Tran, Dylan Lappin, and Liz Reyna. All of which have made my experience with Eagle CU truly exceptional.

    Their online banking to get access to your accounts is ALWAYS DOWN. You may not be able to access your funds when it’s down. This happens very often. I’ve been with this CU for over 10 years. Two stars because the staff are almost always nice.

While you may not be able to access your account in the app or online during the maintenance break, all Eagle debit and credit cards are working to allow for purchases and ATM cash withdrawal requests.     I have been with this credit union since 1979, when it had another name. I have not had one bad experience with them in all that time. Of course there have been a few glitches throughout the years, but the fine employees at Eagle have always taken the time to sort things out quickly and professionally, and I have never lost one dime from a mistake of theirs. A couple of times they have gone the extra mile and really helped me out of a few jams (involving foreign travel). I have brought in family members to Eagle, knowing they will be treated fairly and honestly, and none of them have left. Also, even though there are some fees, they are NOTHING like at other banks. I love this credit union and will never go anywhere else, and neither will my son, my husband nor my former ex brother-in-law, Larry.

    I got a junk email from this fly by night credit union. When I attempted to unsubscribe all I would get was an error message. I attempted to call both the Lake Forest & Foothill Ranch numbers listed to request to have my email address removed. 25 minutes on hold from the Foothill number and no answer. After about 10 minutes hold for the Lake Firest number I gave up. I wouldn't do business with this flake/fake outfit if they were the last in their field. Now I'll suffer with interminable emails and nothing I can do about it.

    This bank definitely Looks out for its customers ! I set up a direct deposit transaction from my tax professional. And she entered my account number in wrong so when it came in for deposit, it went into a different account. I was totally unaware. A the staff members at eccu, caught the error and called me to let me know what had happened and to let me know they corrected the problem And put the funds in to my account. You won’t find that with any other bank. Their customer service is amazing, thanks again!

    I just recently joined this credit union and have called them twice in the last two weeks, I was told both times that they valued my time and to leave my number and they would call me back. Today it's been over 5 hours and since they are closed now, it will be tomorrow, which if they called me right when they opened it will be 21 hours. Needing my question answered I called back and listened to their prompts and I tried the "collections" options, figuring they would want money and bingo they picked up!! There are plenty of credit unions out there and they are all competing for your business. Don’t take my word for it, call them first before you open and account.

    Mr. Brower, As we discussed on the telephone, we recognize that our members time is valuable so our call system allows members to request a call back rather than wait on hold. To receive a call back the caller must verify the call back number repeated by the system, this needs to be confirmed by pressing “1” at the end of the message. Occasionally callers do not press the “1” confirming the call back number and the call request will not be logged. Confirming the call back number by selecting “1” at the end of the message is a prudent security step and ensures that we will be speaking with the right person, we do not feel that this is an onerous requirement. I encourage all members to utilize the call back feature should hold times be excessive due to heavy call volume, please remember to listen to the entire message and confirm the call back request, by pressing “1”. We spoke as a result of you sending me an e-mail via the “Ask the CEO” icon on our webpage and I called you as soon as I had an opportunity to review our phone system and determined there were no issues with the system. Any member of the credit union can contact me directly using the “Ask the CEO” feature and I personally follow up on any issues, I cannot think of another financial institution that has this access to the CEO.     I bank with a credit union up north but I can do my banking business with any credit union that is within the co-op network - such as this one. I went to go deposit a check at another credit union - that only has a co-op ATM - and it got declined. They couldn't help me inside so I had to hunt for another one and voila! This is actually closer to work with two ATMs and a drive up ATM. The check still didn't work at the ATM for some reason so I had to go inside and have it processed. I can't remember the last time I've walked into a bank but they were able to help me out, get my issue resolved and deposit the check into my account. Overall, very friendly from the get go, service was quick, and I was on my way back home.

    Incredibly Rude customer service. The "branch manager" is short, high tempered, unhelpful, not friendly and dismissive. This credit union has gone down over the years. Probably why they moved from a large building to a tiny store front.

    An employee at Eagle "thought" I was breaking the law when I transferred money from one of my IRA's to another IRA, so the employee called an ICE agent and gave them incorrect information about my account. I had to show ICE my ECCU statements to prove to them that the information ECCU had told them about my account was false. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION. If you want ECCU employees to call ICE and give them false information about your banking information-use the credit union.

    I used to come here a lot when they were on Lake Forest Drive and deposit my paychecks. They were always very professional, but yesterday morning I tried to deposit some money and I was immediately met with the worst attitude by a female clerk, whom I have never seen at this branch. I didn't catch her name, but she was a blonde haired woman that wore a red ruby ring and who I believe had an accent (I'm not 100% sure because she basically refused to talk to me). I know covert racism when I see it, and this woman had it written all over her. It's disappointing to see this kind of behavior in a company that deals with people from all walks of life on a daily basis. Hopefully the branch managers will take care of this problem.
