    I love Denver Fire Credit union however I don't know why lately every time I call nobody ever answers the phone. It definitely bums me out, my Dad has been a loyal customer for many years as well as a firefighter and he added me on to the credit union when I was a young one at home with my parents! Love you guys just a little disappointed I can't get anyone to answer the phone.

We love you and all of our members and never like to hear that we aren’t meeting your expectations or needs. We have received several member complaints regarding calls in the last month and I assure you we are spending time and resources working to overcome the issues. We made an update to the phone system last week and your communication led us to further research and we have found an additional problem with our system. We will work to fix the latest problem. In addition, we have a new team member that started last week who will be an additional team member answering incoming calls. We hope this will help us be more reactive to incoming requests. While I can’t promise that you’ll never have to be on hold for a bit, or will never have to leave a message during extremely high call periods, I can promise that we are putting time and resources towards improving answering our incoming calls.     NOT A SHARED BRANCHING LOCATION!! Google says this location is a shared branching location but that is false if you already belong to a shared branch and location this credit Union will not be able to do any sort of business with you however if you are a member of this credit Union then you can participate in shared branching in other words their members are offered shared branching but they themselves do not offer any services to shared branching members. They also do not have an ATM but the staff is very friendly and the vintage fire truck decor is pretty cool to look at as well.

    Lost my trust. The management and staff have no understanding or knowlege of the products they provide. And they out source their IRAs. Not good. Closed my acct. If I could give no stars I would. I have no idea what your talking about I was upset to find my IRA out sourced and I did contact you no one there seemed to care so I took my IRA and my savings elsewhere. And your answer is another reason Im glad I left.

We believe we know who you are and are sad that you have posted such derogatory statements without ever contacting management regarding your concerns or our CEO who openly offers his cell phone and makes himself available to discuss concerns with our member-owners. If we are correct in our assumption regarding your identity, it is important to note the majority of the concerns, lack of trust, or perceived lack of knowledge or understanding (of management and staff) concerning the products we provide stem from your requests to circumvent specific IRS Rules and Regulations regarding Individual Retirement Accounts. DFDFCU will not circumvent Rules and Regulations that govern our industry and the products we offer. Regarding the outsourcing of our IRA program, yes, we do work directly with an industry leader to provide IRA products and services to our membership. We work with this partner to ensure our membership has experts available when needed, for example, in your case. It never feels good to know a member has closed their account and we wish you would have provided us an opportunity to work with you to resolve this issue prior to anonymously stating you’ll no longer work with us.

    After being lockout of my account I emailed the credit union and got an immediate call from the CEO. Mike was very personable and took the time to get me setup again, I’m able to log in with no problem. They truly care at DFDFCU and will work to resolve any issues that may come up.

    Horrible experience. Poor customer service. Everything is super slow. Will be switching to chase. Don’t bother with this business. All they give you are excuses. Instead of resolving a problem all branch manager does is spit company policy in your face.
