    Very rude and heartless they do not care about their members or their lives. Be warned if you are going through any kind of hardship they will not give you an extension. My loan is new however life doesn't care about that timing sucks but they will not help you. Now homeless because I had to pay what I had saved for a home to my car. Do not use this credit union for a loan. There are far better places that treat you like a human.

    Absolutely incompetent organization. I got locked out of my account and tried to restore access by 1) Sending an email request, 2) Online chat, 3) Calling and talking to two different people, both of whom were unable to figure out my issue. I asked for them to mail paper statements, since I could not access them online, but they wanted to charge a $3 fee per statement. I asked if they would waive this fee since it is their fault that I have no online access; they refused. As soon as I get qualified, I am moving my auto loan elsewhere.

    Long story short I closed my accounts with Del Norte and am a disabled veteran . My money from the va money went into my exs account because it was rerouted somehow and now del Norte is refusing to give me my money and holding it hostage which has now made me homeless and racking up charges on my other bills because of it . Management doesn’t care don’t open an account here they are not here for the people .

    I've been a member for over 20 years. I will be closing my account. I've had several instances where they just make it difficult for me to do business. I should have closed my account years ago when I was talked to very unprofessionally by a loan officer. Del Norte Credit Union is not for its members.

    Through the dealership I got a loan for a vehicle, I have been trying to reach someone by phone and have not been successful. Looks like I'll be refinancing with my Navy Federal Credit Union!

    My experience here at Del Norte Credit Union was exemplary in every regard. I looked at the negative reviews and I must say, my experience completely differed in all of the very best ways, to which end I am grateful. Del Norte has truly proven to be an establishment that operates in excellence with courteous, kind, and hospitable staff in addition to offering expedient service. Everything was outstanding! I’d like to personally thank Ryan and Dominique for being so hospitable, attentive, and considerate. Both of these individuals are indisputably marvelous in every respect. Thank you both and thank you Del Norte!

    The new branch is in a nice area and I am happy that they built a branch in my neighborhood. But I was surprised to see no customers in the bank and wondered why. This is the same scenario in the last two times we visited. We did not make any appointment. Went directly to one of the four counters with bored employees! I think one girl was in training. I went to her as she said good morning-big mistake! Have had the absolute worst experience with her and the guy in short haircut (whose counter was to her left when I was facing her-both of them were hiding their name tags!) who was ‘mentoring’ her to be rude, racial, impatient, unprofessional, attitudy, ridiculing, condescending and racial like him (he got up and stood next to her when we went to her-this why I think he is the ‘mentor’). Good news- she is good at it! I am not sure is it the result of his effective mentoring of this bank culture or she is just a natural! LOL!! When we opened three new accounts in this new location, for one account we forgot to get free lose checks which come with when opening an account. When asked for it, this attitudy ‘no-name banker’ consulted her mentor and said it will cost us. When I explained that we got the checks for the other two accounts when opening without any charge, she curtly left without saying anything and printed out the checks. I asked her how much it costs, she said if it becomes habitual, it will cost $ 3 for three checks!! How courteous and fitting reply!! This is just one sample of her ridicule. I said I want to talk to a banker/agent like we did when we opened the accounts. She said she will make an appointment and asked us to wait. There were no visitors at the offices of two agents/bankers and they were not on the phone either. After fifteen minutes, the short hair cut guy came and asked us that are we waiting for something? I said she (and he too-the whole conversation was a joint effort from DNCU-I hope their paychecks are separate!) said she will make an appointment. We waited for another 10 mins and nothing happened. So went to Matthew (one of the two idle agents who opened our accounts) said we are not going to wait any further and bye. In a nutshell, now I know why this CU is not crowded like the other credit unions around this area. On the other hand, I wonder is it morally correct to not to work, drive away customers and get a pay check? I consider closing my accounts here and encourage others to do so. Good luck DNCU; And employees, continue to have fun! Glad to see I’m not the only one who has this same experience with them.

    Have had the absolute worst experience with this credit Union. Rude, impatient, unprofessional, and not worth the time. I was forced into using them for my auto loan. I have signed up for automatic payments numerous times for my loan. Gone into the branch twice to set it up. EVERY MONTH I have to go back online or go in because the auto was “never set up” even though I have their proof of successful sign up. They tell me the account is over due and can’t be set up for auto pay. I pay 2-3 times the loan amount (they request in cash to avoid more late fees) and then 30 days later just to be told the same thing. Pulling this account as soon as possible. Glad to see I’m not the only one who has this same experience with them.

    Yesterday I had the pleasure of opening an account at the brand new Del Norte Credit Union here in Rio Rancho. I was immediately greeted as I walked in. I liked that. I want to first thank the young man who helped me open the account. Trey, you are not only knowledgeable at your position but very personable. You answered all my questions and even offered information to help me along the way. Also a thank you to Nathanael and Kim at the front who made me feel very welcome. I reccomend to all who live in our community to consider DNCU as their banking choice.

    Del Norte has been my Credit Union of choice since it opened. Living in Rio Rancho and having them become apart of community has been more than a blessing. Recently I had to get a document notarized and the staff was welcoming and very friendly and eagar to help us.
