It's really a shame to see this Credit Union suffer to poor customer service/lack of management. All these 1-star reviews over the years I applied for a heloc loan and I wouldn't receive answers to my questions/concerns until several days later instead of same day. On top of that, they never explained to me that the heloc loan process would take 1.5 months to complete as where a personal loan can be completed in 1 day. Even more on top of that, I didn't get the full heloc loan amount. They told me I had to pay off my other loan first. So I was left with less than I requested. After 2 months of waiting for approval they didn't even have the check ready for me. They forced me to pay $3 for a cashiers check after i specifically check marked the little box on the application that I want my money in check form. Then now they want to charge me 8cents for the loan I was forced to pay off as an oversight from their department. I called today to sort out this oversight on their underwriting department and the lady had the audacity to say "you dont have 8cents in your account to pay?" I got extremely upset and let her know that her comment is very unprofessional and that its the fact that you forced me to close one loan to start another and you cant get your figures together. I told her i can say the same thing that youre a financial instituion and you cant afford to cover 8cents over your peoples negligence? Instead of her taking the initiative to rectify the situation, I just told her to take an the 8cents from my account and close my account. So these people swindled $3.08 out of me on top of the percentage they're going to receive from loan payments. I CANNOT wait to pay off my loan early and never have to deal with this credit union again. It's a shame because I've been a member since I was 16 and I'm 41 now.

This bank is inefficient, they don't communicate well. I applied for a personal loan and 6 days later I called for an update and they just simply said I had been denied after telling me I had been approved just not for a specific amount and that they would let me know. The experience over all was not the best, you're much better off with other credit unions.

I had the worst experience at this branch. I went in for a replacement debit card. I was told it would be 5 minutes to get my replacement card after about 15 minutes I find out the person helping me went to lunch without making sure my card printed. It so disappointing to see how much they really care about their customers. I ended up closing my account.

probably the worst experience ive ever had with financing a vehicle. the APP is horrible. the reps constantly get the wrong information. my payment was backed up due to their own fault and now they're making me jump through hoops to FIX THEIR MISTAKES. that bank is HORRIBLE. avoid using them WHEN EVER POSSIBLE.

never do business with this bank, I paid my car and they start charging me $10 because i didn't close my account, I know $10 is nothing but if I want to close the account I have to go and wait until they close my account. they don't care that we are in pandemic

I just left the bank 15 minutes ago, I will never come there again nor will I refer a friend to the bank. The representative were very rude, they didn't care about my business and I'm really thinking about taking all my accounts to a different bank. The first time I opened my account with Dade County credit union was in a different branch nothing to do with this one people there were friendly and they pay attention to all my necessities. Unfortunately, that branch was closed and I came to this one because it's close to my work something that I already regret. The representative barely pay attention to us after waiting 25 minutes on the lobby, which by the way had no other customer than us; we were greeted by a representative that told us she was not able to help us because they have a new system and with the new system if I talk to someone on the phone that is the only person that can take care of us. The staff did not put any effort to help us or at least guide us in what to do. Very unfriendly representatives, I went there to refinance my car and I will certainly look for a different branch to do so. It makes me feel very disappointed because even though the credit union is great this branch is really bad.

I have been trying to get help rectifying an error on my credit report that the Credit Union created and I have not received any support. If I could give them less than one star that is what they deserve. Previously I tried to dispute a transaction and rather than processing a chargeback they sent me back and for to the vendor and after 6 months still no resolution. They take the money and keep it but when it comes to customer service they do not care about their customers. I have been trying to talk to a Manager so that I don't loose a very good opportunity but thanks to the staff at the Credit Union my credit report is showing erroneous information and now I have to carry that with me and possibly miss out on this very special opportunity for my family. Do yourself a favor and save yourself some aggravation and find yourself an institution that at least pretends to care about the little money that we make.

I went today, to this branch to get my rent money out, with my 2 small children. I waited 20min to be taken care of, i pressed the call button 3 times, i need a pen and no one would help me out. This is unacceptable, and customer service should be better then this. I will never again go to this branch, even if i lived there. The teller was a young lady, she kept licking the camera to her then back to me. She could have at least told me something so i wouldn't be disappointed. Good luck to the bank.

loved this institution until I got my card stolen and almost had to pay for all the overdraft fees and spending that another person did from my account. After requesting a block be put on my card so I can't have anymore overdrafts they said it would be done and instead I get hit with overdraft fee after overdraft fee again. After getting on the phone with the most unfriendly and rude collector I went and closed my account. Highly recommend you DONT use this place for your banking needs.
