    I simply do not trust a financial institution that is so backwards that both in person and over the phone I waited 30+ minutes to correct a charge on my account. Fed up with both in person and over the phone-on-hold disservice, I had to submit an electronic request that would take 7-10 business days to resolve. Their app and website is backwards and I bank at other institutions that have far more cutting edge online services. Making an external payment on a loan or even transferring money is an action that Congress would be more efficient at. Points for them that they do keen your information secure. So secure, they even keep it from you. When I called to simply get my member number I was denied even offering to answer challenge questions. Their ability to work in tandem with your other financial services is dead last in the industry standard. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

    Great place for a car loan. People are friendly. However, why would anyone bank at a place that pays no interest and charges a fee for the checking account? I opened a checking account thinking I was going to make this my main bank. When I went to the branch to make a car payment I asked what the interest rate was on their savings account and was told “We are not paying interest on saving or checking accounts.”. So glad I had been busy and not transferred much money to the new account. I immediately closed my checking account. Left the Savings account open because I will still do my loans here.

    I went to do a withdrawal and had the pleasure to have Norma to help me. I &have seen her before but this w the first time for her to help me. She greeted me super well acknowledging me by name. She was very thorough with what I needed and made sure to keep me in the loop of what she was doing. Norma made me feel welcomed making sure to keep eye contact and using my name. Thanks Norma.

    CUTX is a good bank. The main thing I do like that there isn’t a way to be exempted from monthly fees each month. The online banking is being upgraded which is great because it is a little dated. However, Norma was a great person.

    Everytime I go in there I get a home feel experience, Veda is one of the representatives that assists me and she is very helpful, polite, and professional at what she does, if there was a 10 star rating that is what I would give it

    Was a member here from 1972, back when it was called Teacher's Credit Union. Was loyal for 50 years, but just can't fight through the current outdated protocols, difficulties of timely service, constant flipping of the online app, deposit delays, etc. Saddens me to shutter my accounts after so many years to go to a major bank, but necessary.

    The worst mobile banking service I’ve ever experienced. Terrible mobile app that never allows me to login. Extremely frustrating when trying to pay my car note or just keep up with my balance. It’s a pain. So many other better companies out there that have their technology up to date. Do not bank with these people. You will be frustrated.

    Yesterday, 11/23/21, I got an email from CUTX informing me that I had a new eNotice alert and to log in to my account to view it. When I went to log in I got a response that I did not have an account with CUTX. Triple checked my login information - everything was accurate. I called CUTX's customer service line today. After verifying all my security information I was told that no message was sent to me! I was then told I was not enrolled in online banking. After further questioning I was told that I would have to re-enroll. When I asked why, I was told that there was a system change on October 13 and so I would have to re-enroll! What the heck?! Is CUTX that IT challenged that it could not transfer all my information to the new system? And why did they not let me know I would have to re-enroll when the change was made? I had to waste half an hour trying to get this resolved. Response to comment below from CUTX: Instead of a message saying that I did not have an account (especially when I received an email asking me to log in and check my message), a more customer centric response would have reminded me that, as notified earlier, systems were changed and I would have to re-enroll. Its not that challenging CUTX!

    I love this CUTX Lewisville branch! They’re all kind and hard workers, especially Veda and Musja! I make a deposit every 2 weeks or so and they’re always there to take care it. They know me when I walk in and always have something fun to talk about. If there was another way to deposit my money, I would still rather go into the Lewisville branch to see how they’re doin.
