    This is for the loan department. The process to get a small auto loan here has been the worst expericence I’ve ever had with a bank hands down. They didn’t return my calls for an entire week. I will never, ever, bank or borrow money from these people ever again. I am actively discouraging people I know from doing any kind of business here. I was point blank lied to regarding the auto insurance minimum requirement, and now I’m on the hook to pay to increase it. Do NOT risk doing business here. There are other credit unions.

    I used to be a member of a United Financial Credit Union. This corporation bought them out and closed my 20 year old credit card due to one period of unemployment and missed payment. Note they were not easy to work with. I paid their credit card balance and do not wish this company on any one else. This company will treat you like a criminal is if you are past due and ruin your credit. They are not your typical credit union, steer away.

    I love the Easy and fast way they do Lending. All done by phone and people treat you like they know you personally. I’ve been with this Credit Union since 1991 about 3o years. I have moved out of Los Angeles but I’m still doing Business with them. My next major move, will be buying another home. I trust everything will go well.

    I'm going to start off by saying I did not have the best first experience using this credit union. I had posted a negative review and I am happy to say, they went over and beyond to keep my business. I not only continued my business with the credit union, I opened up another account and will continue to give them my business. When a business makes the effort to work on the negative and turn them around, they win me over. The Brea manager Michelle is so professional and really worked through my issue with me and took the time to hear what I had to say. I thank her for that! I look forward to going in now to make my payment just so I can say hi!

    The staff and tellers are extremely helpful and customer focused at this location. I deal with David whom is a personal banker at this location and he goes over and beyond to help me with my banking needs. He understands and is always diligent to take care of all his customers needs in a timely manner. I am happy to call this location my home bank :)

    I cancel my account in chase five years ago and came over here to established my financial and credit situation for the best and I have and they do provide friendly service but today some underwriter decided to deny my personal loan of $3500 not because of my credit score(749), job status or lack of funds in my account($9,889 ) it was because of whatever it said in a pay stub. so now I am reconsidering of having an account here If they are not going to help me in any sort way like they promote on their website well I am going back to chase or commute to another credit union of another town instead of the credit union southern California of Whittier where I lived.

    I love this credit union! Their customer service is always extremely helpful and they actually care about you. Natalie is the rep who has been helping me most recently and she is amazing. It feels so good to know that they actually support you and care about you as a person and a member. I couldn't say enough good things about credit union. I'm closing my Chase account and moving all my funds to CUsocal.

    I give there phone APP one star. They have online check deposit that does not work. My son deposited his check on the app and it put a hold on it because the app was not working correctly. Went to the bank and talked to customer service associate and was told that app did that with checks sometimes. Manager then told him that he should pull money from his savings and then put money back in. I told him that he could but it is not the point. If you know your app has problems maybe the problems should be fixed before you market the app to members. By the way it was Labor day weekend so no it till Tuesday. I have given the bank a lot of my business but I'm rethinking of my future business with them due to customer service and IT problems.

    This place doesn’t deserve even 1 star. My father has passed and we are trying to take care of everything. I have emailed Alexandra S. several times with no response, my mom has called her and she won’t return calls. They place us on hold for an extremely long amounts of time. The staff is rude. My parents have been members of this bank before it even became who it now. A little compassion goes along way in a time lime this.

    They dont loan to people with A home loan they hold you responsible for the whole loan when 99% of Americans have TWO incomes in there homes.They told me after being there customer for years and that i have always paid my loan to them on time that now that I own A home with my WIFE who pays half of the home loan that i cant count that to my dept to ratio.So according to them I can never get A loan again until I pay off my house. Craziest thing I have ever heard. Good luck to there policy there going to need it. By the way I already have A loan with them just wanted to refinance it and pull A small amount of money to fix my home the payment would have been the same seeing how I already payed off more than HALF of the original loan you figure it out.
