I experienced the distinct pleasure of working with Ms. Precious Watkins, at the Lombard CU1 office. I will admit that I was very apprehensive about the entire process of getting a new car for my family. I didn't trust putting information online, talking with a banker, finding a car, etc. I was expecting the ball to drop at any point during the process. But, I must say Ms. Watkins dispelled all my anxieties during the entire process. She explained each step and stayed in touch with me the entire time, until I drove my car off the lot. I can't thank Ms. Watkins enough for the trust that she restored in a mature person going through, what I consider a difficult process at best! She was very professional, knowledgeable and proved that she loves what she does, which is what she told me.

When it came time to signing paperwork Precious called and walked me thru. Great customer service with any all questioned answered and for financing with Credit Union 1, I received $100.00 deposited into my account. Can't get much better than that. Precious in great! I have been a member of CU1 Lombard for roughly two years. After my wallet was stolen, I went through one of the worst banking experiences I could imagine. Most of the money on my debit card was stolen before I realized it was missing, and after contacting my bank and reporting theft it took over three months for the money to be returned. After that I swore off traditional banking, and based on a recommendation from a friend, I opened a checking and savings account with CU1 in Lombard. I was thrilled with the security I was guaranteed and the sense of family I got when I entered the building. Shortly thereafter I purchased a home and worked with Robyn, and she was able to get me an incredible interest rate and a quick close, all while explaining everything multiple times to this first time home buyer ! A year later, my car died and it was time for a new one. I worked with Ben, and again, another great rate and attentive service. Overall, both Robyn and Ben worked, what felt like, tirelessly to make sure I was taken care of through the tough times, and the happy times. Couldn't recommend CU1 in Lombard, especially Robyn and Ben, more.

My wife financed a car through Credit Union 1, the Lombard IL branch, and we were helped by a guy named Ben Rodriguez. He was super helpful and made everything so easy. We got the best rate from Ben and CU1, after talking to two other lenders. Should’ve talked to him first!
