I have held an account with continental for years and it has made my life much harder. Their customer service representatives are so rude that and unhelpful that talking to them to figure out how to close an account is excruciating. Today, I finally got the information I needed to close my account with continental, and I can't be more excited. Getting the information was excruciating, and the representative on the phone was extremely rude. I never write reviews, but this experience was so exceptionally horrible, that I had to leave one. I can't believe this company is still around if they treat their customers like this. Also, online it says to call their number because they have award winning customer service. When you call the line, an automated message states that they are overwhelmed with callers and to hang up and use their online features. Very glad to be discontinuing all business with them. EDIT ADDED 2/18/22: Please note that the company responded to the google review telling me to contact them about the issue. I tried contacting them via email, phone, and directly through their website and STILL have received no response. I truly do not understand how this company is so horrible at responding to their own customers anywhere except for Google. This is likely due to the fact that they only care about what new customers might think, and are completely uninterested in helping their current clients. I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND SWITCHING TO CHARLES SCHWAB.

Updated: One of their customer communication persons reached out via email with a few hours of my original post with a direct number to call which connected on the first try, and they were helpful in getting me the information I needed in order to transact my shares. He also stated that they would look into the phone system issues and try to resolve that as well, and that they were unaware of the problem I'd raised with their IVR/phone tree dumping customers into mailboxes that couldn't receive messages and byzantine routing just to get there. Once that's resolved, I'll further update my post. Original complaint: It has proven exceedingly difficult to get someone on the phone to discuss a stock transfer I need performed. All the voicemail boxes that I've landed at in their IVR tree are full/reached message quota and not accepting new messages. The one time I did get someone I got thrown between departments no less than SIX times having to re-explain my situation each time, before someone committed to looking into it and then following-up with me via email with what they found out. Continental, reach out and fix it if you want me to improve my review.

It has been almost 2 months that we have submitted the papers via Priority mail for which have proof. They deny receipt and are super slow to respond. Email is slow, calls waiting endlessly. Not sure what I am supposed to do to get our money sent to us.

Damaris Tineo is awesome. She kindly explained to me over the phone about miscommunucations w.r.t. checks issued to my family member. Now, the biggest problem is resolved. I am waiting for an email response from the company admin to my request email to update my mom's email address incorrect on file. I can not recall a time where a corporate service vendor yelled at a management team (aka the client). Steven Nelson, who owns and runs the company, should be ashamed of his behavior. I would encourage any company considering stock transfer agents, to look elsewhere.
This is from a customer that refuses to pay their invoices and honor their obligations. There was no yelling on the call which was terminated by Mr. Evans.
