Horrible experience !!!!!!! Awful awful finance company to deal with. My lawyer informed me they want businesses on purpose to miss payments so they can sue people. Just about every finance company in NYC said they have the worst reputation. Do not be a fool and borrow money from them. I was still making payments on account and they still filed a lawsuit. Luckily I hired a good lawyer who is going to go after them.

Worst company ever. Gave them all documentation to use a different account at half payment as it states I.my my contract and they still filed a lawsuit. Odis Tavares is the worst customer service rep. They don’t respond to phone calls until you miss a payment and then they harass you and file suit. Avoid at all cost!

Odis Tavarez called and harassed us for payment that was already authorized. She tried to scam us into making an additional payment via Zelle. She screams at people on the phone and has a condescending tone. We speak and understand English 100% fine. She needs to be fired or trained in basic manners.

I missed payments due to Covid and pneumonia. They will ignore your calls and emails. They will file a lawsuit after one week of being late and only owing 15% of the balance. They are truly a predatory lender and have a special place in hell for their practices. AVOID!!!

This company over charge me and still taking money out my account so my account wen to over draft I had to close bc my bank notified me lady calling me talking trash the economy is Jake up there no way I will be able to make any payments at this moment

Requested TOTAL payoff amount for two accounts, on speaker with other witnesses, was given XXX amount, after confirming XXX for both accounts, multiple times, asked for wire information to submit payment. Submitted payment. Auto payments from the bank never stopped. Asked why and was informed the payoff amount was for 1 account not 2 and everyone listening must have misunderstood. "Supervisor" Karl then tells me it is actually all my fault for believing the TOTAL payoff amount given was actually the total payoff amount, even if it had been repeatedly requested and verified. I think Kalamata needs to look into basic comprehension skills training. Will never use again and will advise associates to also not use.

Hidden fees added into the deal at the last minute even though they promised those fees would not be included. They accelerated repayment from 180 business days (9 months) to 180 calendar days (6 months) despite promising the opposite. This company is a sham Also - they use different addresses to conceal their true identity. We have put alerts on all our credit cards and with our bank. We contacted a competitor and received funding in 2 days.

Been working with Kalamata for a while now Nissim has been an absolute pleasure to work with, always great service and most importantly the best deals! I recommend Nissim and Kalamata to anybody looking to get deals funded!
