Overwhelmingly awesome museum.. lots of things to gain knowledge on computer history.. You need at least a week to see/understand things there.. with docents/guides you get very good information on some of the exhibits.. one should visit at least to support the museum funding.. on an average you can spend 3 hours.. one negative: it is too much for a human brain from a museum..!!

Boy I wish they would be able to even expand and show much more, but what they have and display is amazing. Interestingly all of the children seem to have had a fun time even though there are not many things to touch and experience in person. Impressive work, absolute marvelous volunteers.

Very cool to see all of the old computers, including the first one I worked on in 5th grade in Mountain View elementary school. So much has changed in Mountain View in 30 years, but you can't imagine how much until you realize the Cray computer that was the size of a room is now less powerful than your phone. The food was pretty good too, we had lunch there, great service. Cool to see the autonomous cars before they take over. We could have used two things on our tour: 1. An acronym guide, as there are so many (ENIAC anyone?) 2. A chronological guide. I realize you cannot lay out the exhibit in chronological order, but how about a poster, or some kind of chart so we can track the history of each technology? We walk sort of slow, and it took us just over 2 hours to do the entire exhibit.

If you are interested in computers, this takes in everything from the pre-abacus to today’s handhelds. Makes for a fascinating afternoon if you’re so inclined. Would not recommend for very young children since not enough to keep them engaged.

Great museum with fun, interactive exhibits. People of all ages can enjoy this place. You can sit in a Wayno self-driving car. Sometimes they offer free entry on Friday nights.

A very cool museum, pretty big and pretty thorough. Tons of cool artifacts from old calculators and punch card machines to computers, laptops, cell phones, and video games. Pretty well laid out and just a ton of stuff to see. I spent about 4 hours there and could have probably spent a bit longer!

Great content and exhibits. Slightly confusing in some areas on which way to walk to move through in chronological order however. This is a great place to visit to learn more about the history of computing or to see some of the machines of the past if you're already aware of all of the history.

Great place for geeks. If you go on guided tour (you have to!) you will be guided by people who actually used those hardware. They are in fact part of the history and know many interesting facts. Totally worth the money.

Wanna know how we got from there to here? Then this is the place to go. Make sure to go on a Wednesday or Saturday when the guys fire up the IBM 1401 and transport you back to 1964 and the wonders of the brave new world of midsize company computing. The smell alone in the "data center" was enough to send this very much not a millennial guest back to his key punch days.
