Community First Credit Union Lawrence Dr, De Pere

I have been banking with Community First for over 10 years, and wouldn't consider going anywhere else! I have had several different loans with them, and each time I have had a great experience. Currently, my husband and I have our mortgage and my vehicle loan through Community First. The process was smooth for both, and we are happy with the rates. I specifically want to mention Andrea Huber. We worked with her recently and she was WONDERFUL to work with! She was happy to answer whatever questions we had and help us however she could. Thank you!

Need to train your staff better. There was no mention that there are 2 different checking account and that the direct checking one requires a min amount in the checking account. Why would you allow someone to open an account with just 50 dollars but $200 min is required daily to avoid a fee? I have had nothing but a bad experience since switching my bank to this CU. I guess the reviews are accurate about all the hidden fees they do not mention to you so you have to pay. Definitely going to be looking for a new bank this is just sad. Edit: The branch Manager reached out to me to get some additional information on this situation. She was very pleasant to speak with and very sincere in resolving the issues. Hopefully this will serve as an example to recognize where more training may be needed.

May have good rates but terrible policies. Email notifications for low checking funds don't work, terrible overdraft policies, outdated mobile app and website. Wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a bank that actually cares you're a human customer. Obviously need to take a class or two on customer service and need to research their competitors policies. We also had our card number stolen and when we called to get new cards, it took them weeks. Had to speak to multiple managers who didn't understand what to do in those situations. We just needed new cards with new numbers!

I normally go to the Credit Union in Howard. I like using Community first Credit Union Union. The people are all very professional and knowledgeable. I have gotten a few loans through them. A car loan and a motorcycle. Excellent rates. This particular credit union is just as good as the one in Howard. People working here are awesome. Obviously since the COVID19 hit, they have the lobby closed. But if I have a question and need to speak to someone I don’t have a problem getting through to someone. And I have been to this location in DePere where u can only use the drive thru and things move along very smoothly. No issues at all. Well trained employees. All friendly Great credit union. I used to bank at a location In Appleton, then Howard next to my work and this DePere location is just a little closer to home. All locations are good. Can’t say enough good about this Credit Union.

Community First is one of several credit unions I bank with which I hugely live with regret giving them a chance! By far the worst experience in a credit union yet! Rude people, don't answer phone calls at reasonable times when waiting when I know I'm in their hours of being open, awful interest bearing accounts compared to my first credit union (Capital) and or look at your long term life goals to work with you. I wouldn't reccomend them to anyone which possibly one day I will leave them myself.

Great interest rates on mortgages. Heard back on my auto loan approval in one hour and received a check for the loan in 24 hours. HOWEVER, they screwed up the accounts on my mortgage. They put it under my son's account. They said they couldn't change it unless he signed something to take his name off of the account. (This was their mistake.) It has been over 8 months and I am STILL trying to get both my mortgage account and the account they are taking the money out of under one account link for online payment purposes. It has been a nightmare. So I guess you get what you pay for.

Easily the worst credit union in the area. "We'll find a way" yeah right.

We have been coming here for many years in depere, everything from bank loans to savings accounts, the most friendly,hospitable people and customer sercive, very pleased with this branch, we would never think of of going else where.

Great place to invest your money. The associates are helpful, friendly , patient and go " the extra mile" for anyone .

Didn't return phone call regarding refinancing my loan twice. Assistant branch manager was rude.
