There has now been 3 cases where I've been charged 2 times the amount on my account for 1 transaction and it take 7-10 business days for it to magically come back, meanwhile I'm out that money. They don't seem to care at all how it affects you. 1/19/2022. I've now been on the phone yesterday and today for a total of 4 hours 🙃 trying to get this resolved with the bank and ATT, neither of them are willing to take responsibility for the double charge of 195.25 and is still reflecting on my account, stating it "should" be taken care of within 7-10 business days. 🙃 oh...I might mention, you're never transferred to the branch, only a call center to handle matters. You have to go into the branch for them to work with you. Alsoooo, at the branch they told me I'd incur NSF fees per day I was negative, which baffled me, as this is an error on them, I was told, I could reach out to one of them once this situation was handled and have the fees taken off. This is such a long process to make the customer stress over until things reside. Why is it that it takes 7-10 days to process a refund, when it took maybe 2 minutes for them to take my money. Customer service truly is gone. I'm so over it.

I had a charge with a company 4 times on 03/05. Clearly this was a mistake. Filed a dispute on 03/05. On 03/21 I still haven't received my charged back and called 6 times. Hold times totally 6+hours. They closed the case when the company gave back 1 od the 4 charges. We still have 3 more charges.. 2 needjng back.. Went to the branch in Blue Springs and the branch manager just apologized and did nothing more to help and still called like I did. Was a waste of time. Don't waste your time with them. Doing business with them 20 plus years doesing phase them clearly. Its not about the money its the customers service and the accountability.

I don't know what is wrong with their phones, but I've tried to call SEVERAL times the last 2 weeks and can NEVER get in contact. Their phones always say "not available" or just straight up hang up. I'm growing increasingly frustrated with the fact I can never get the help I need without going out of my way to go to the bank for something that shouldnt be this difficult.

Could not give me all the money I had deposited so have to go back an hour back to get all my Money. 3 times. Now to drive 18 miles with gas high to get twice what they couldn't give in one shot

If I could give Commerce Bank less than one star, I would. I had to deal with the bank from out-of-state, and it was concerning my deceased brother’s account. Once the bank had all the paperwork that they asked for, they did exactly the opposite of what I requested. A simple email would have solved the problem, but the bank didn’t bother. It made me realize that Commerce Bank doesn’t really care about their costumers. My brother was a longtime costumer, so they needed to be more respectful. Don’t use Commerce Bank.

Atrocious experience across the board. I was expecting a new debit card to be sent to me a week before it was. I spoke with a girl at this branch, and she told me my debit card was sent out a full week after I was told it would be sent, and 9 days after I originally had my other card terminated because of a fraudulent charge. So I was expected to wait up to an ADDITIONAL 10 days to the 9 I already had been waiting. This causes a huge issue in the midst of a pandemic when I’m largely dependent on paying for things with a card. I asked the girl if they could recall on the previous notes on my account to see who I spoke with previously and why they both told me my card was sent much earlier than it was, but she said Commerce Bank does not keep any record of conversations with customers; which led way to even greater concern to me at that point. I then spoke to customer service and corporate and they do, indeed, keep record of conversations and who customers speak with, so the girl at the bank lied to me. I had to speak with 6 different employees within the last 10 days, and still none of them could manage to put their heads together to have a card delivered to me within that time frame. Beyond that, I had to encounter a string of blatant lies by some of the employees. Just embarrassing from top to bottom

After you’re finally transferred to the branch office you originally called because they didn’t answer quick enough, they are friendly and willing to assist you. The branch staff are super limited to local decision making regarding loan products. All loans go through the KC branches so you might as well fill out an online application or just plan to wait in a long line at the drive through since they are understaffed and only willing to see people by appointment since as their lobby’s are technically closed. Don’t expect your personal loan experience to be very personal and unless you have a previous banking relationship or some hard collateral don’t believe their marketing portion that says “personal loans, without collateral”. Rates are good and competitive but again, they don’t want to start a banking relationship with you unless you have a lot to give first. Your 401k, IRA, other banks stocks bonds cds or cash also doesn’t work here either as collateral. So businesses, don’t bring your receivables or insurance policies for collateral it’s only VINs here like cars RVs trailers campers ect. Also you can forget about it if you already owe money on it because if the bank can’t be first, they won’t be last. I found their ads on Google while searching for a personal loan. Was approved in a timely fashion pending collateral. Supposedly they’ll even offer a cashiers check for the full amount right away as well, just didn’t make it that far in the process. I am unsure and unable to comment on the rest of their products but hopefully this helps save people time in the future.

If I could rate them less than one-star, I would. Terrible customer service. I’ve had $400 stolen from me due to Kelly Price’s negligence. I’ve received over $200 in overdraft fees and cannot even get a call back. I have a business account through this bank, which you would think they would prioritize. Especially whenever they are processing fraudulent checks. This bank is just as crooked for not stopping them. They make their money due to overdraft fees. Almost everytime I go here I have to wait forever in the drive through. Today I didn't have to wait long but no one greeted me when I sent my stuff in and no one asked me how I wanted my cash back and then when I sent it back in no one even said anything. Rude. I do not enjoy doing g business with people that are rude. We have been banking at Commerce for a very long time along with much of our family members. You would think that customer service might be an important detail at a bank. Apparently not. I'll be calling to speak with a manager shortly.
