I went in one day looking for old money and silver coins and the two tellers working were so nice and super helpful. The bank is such a beautiful bank and the atmosphere in there was pretty cheerful. One of the women working went through the bank straps to find anything older for me and seemed really excited and cheerful to look!

Choose another branch! The branch manager at this location has been too lazy to return phone calls and unwilling to help resolve a critical situation that they were happy to help with at the Shelburne Road location. If you're reading google maps reviews of banks the above might not even matter to you =D

Very disappointed in the direction this bank has gone. As a customer at this branch for the past 5 years, I have watched a steady decline in their ability to treat customers as humans. They are unfortunately bound to the company regulations so tightly, that they aren't willing to treat long standing customers to the individual banking we all need and deserve.

I had a number of issues with Citizens Bank, which resulted in me trying to close my accounts there. I say trying because initial efforts were unsuccessful despite giving written notice and visiting the branch and talking the phone and sending emails. Their failure to close the accounts -- which they said was due to their slow system -- resulted in ACHs that I had paid through my new bank hitting the Citizens Bank accounts, and then generating overdraft fees. $39 per item, $117 plus some other unspecified fee of $6.99 to be specific. When I posted a negative review on Google, someone who said he worked in " the Chairman's Office" contacted me by phone and said they'd remove the fees and asked me if I would change my negative Google review. First, I doubt he worked in the Chairman's Office. I think he worked in the PR department. But anyway, I do appreciate that he removed the fees. Also, their online banking doesn't work properly. It logs you out every minute or two, due to, it says, inactivity, when in fact you are in there trying to reconcile your account. I wasn't inactive. I was clicking on links. I was logged out 20 times in half an hour. I felt at times that I got less than straightforward and honest responses to my questions during the year and a half I dealt with the bank. They gave me convenient, easy answers as opposed to honest answers. Nevertheless, I am appreciative that the exorbitant overdraft and other unspecified fees were refunded, and very happy to be no longer dealing with this bank.

I experienced a really really bad encounter with one of there employees named. Cheyenne mobbed . she was not nice when I first talked to her . she started to ask me things that I never asked for .just there to cash my check . so she started to taganize me more while I was trying to get my check cashed. All because I live at. Cots apartments. . I finally asked the manager Robyn Dixon to talk to me about how good her employee is being . the manager was pretending to be clueless and then started to be unprofessional at work too. .so she called the cops because she was 6 feet away from me . she said I was yelling at her . I said your 6 ft away from me what do you expect me to whisper .so I closed my account and left . the whole story is .Cheyenne mobbed made me feel like I couldn't give her my private information. Like my housing . all because I was living above a shelter . I would not recommend going to this bank at allll. Discriminate d

The worst bank I have ever dealt with. They opened up a line of credit for me without telling me that there were associated fees. I was forced to pay even when I requested the credit line to be closed. Not a good way to do business, would never recommend it. 10/10 do not come here

Site is user UN-friendly. Try to find a branch in a state without providing city or zip code. They obviously didn't want non-residents to know where they are. Plus to tell them by email, you have to register. My judgement ? This bank might not have it together enough to user-friendly on all counts.

I opened my first bank account with Citizens and never looked back! Love the community feel of the tellers and I have never had a problem.

It's a beautiful old bank with marble and carved wood. All of the tellers/bankers are as friendly as can be.

People at the branch are friendly and ready to help but dealing with the bank itself on the phone and through messages for problems was a pain in the butt.
