I have been trying to open a bank account for my 17 year old. I passed by on Wednesday but they were closed. I called on Thursday 3/10 a total of 12 time until I finally was able to contact someone from this branch, I was advised to come to either make an appointment or pass by the branch before closing time... well here I am, 3/12 11:00 and I was just informed I need it an appointment to open the account. Extremely disappointed. After being a customer for about 18 years, unable to open an account for my kid.

Two Appointments cancellations in less than a week with not reason. The idea was to open a business and personal account. Terrible services, The manager is not awre what happening here during saturdays.

Bad service overall, would never come here. As a costumer of Citi bank it’s a waste to come here, with an appointment and wait for over 40 min. Terrible branch service.

Went to the bank as there is no one to answer the phone there. Needed to make a change to my mothers account- adding a name to the account. Was told we needed to make an appointment after waiting for 30 minutes. Tried to make an appointment only to have one of the associates telling one of the tellers to take my information- which he wrote on a post it note and said someone would call back with available dates. Still waiting on an appointment 4 days later. I will have my mother close this account as these people do not have a clue.

My mother’s husband died last November from Covid. His savings account didn’t have her name on it but his checking account did. The account has less than $1000 in it. They say my mom needs a probate to get the money. We called Broward County Circuit and they told us that in Florida you don’t need a probate if it’s less than $1000. We’ve been back and forth to this bank, calling corporate, asking for their legal department, presenting marriage certificate and death certificate, and always getting the run around with these horrible low life bankers. Next step is calling our Congressman. I hope someone with a brain and a heart read this and start some action against this awful establishment.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! There is a “team leader” or “manager” here named George who treated me and my boyfriend terribly and screamed at us in front of the other customers. He did not want to identify himself and said his name is George. He did not even have a name tag. We wanted to cash a check and they were not giving us a clear explanation as to why we can’t cash it. He was very dismissive and did not want to give an explanation or help us. He basically did not care and kept telling us to step to the side. He didn’t even give us options as to what we can do. He looks like he doesn’t want to be there. There is NO HUMAN DECENCY and in the middle of a pandemic they don’t care about helping customers or at least being decent. NO WONDER THIS PLACE ONLY HAS ONE STAR REVIEWS. I would never do business with CitiBank or come to this branch.

Went to open a new account for a foreigner friend who have only today to do it, and they saved me future headaches, he lie in my face saying can’t open an account without appointments and take 3 days to certify bs, one month ago I took my sister to another branch , foreigner also, and she did it same day, two month ago another friend , so now I’m in td bank and they are opening , they even took a chair to us to sit, super nice people and great customer service

This is crazy!! Everyone at this branch went out of their way to avoid eyes contact and help! Unbelievable there was no one before me, I just went there to sign a personal loan. Wait time was 45 to 2hr.. funniest part is that they have previously pulled that stunned on me but there was 2 people in front.. wow Citibank has to do something about this location, it is not professional and it’s losing you business

While I was waiting for 50 min for attention- About 15 min giggling between Citi’s representatives. When my turn finally comes up- she just start to ask about private questions in-front of ~10 other waiting customers . Without getting answer - she announce that she has appointment coming and can’t see me. Serious ? I don’t need to say all people around what I came for plus , why she did not give any heads up , that she is expecting appointment at Particular time . I just waste my one and half hrs and never did my service. Is it US bank at all? So low level. No stars deserved.

Most horrible experience ever! My employer overnighted me a Citibank check for emergency. My institution did not have any branches near. I went to 16101 Miramar Parkway Spoke to Branch Manager Tania Greenhill, who was very courteous and professional. She kindly sat me down in her office looked up the closest citi that can cash checks for non customers. Referred me to 8411 pines blvd. After running around it is close to closing time on a friday and needed emergency funds due to the hurricane. They denied cashing the citibank check gave no explanation as to why. My bank was confused as well. Went back speak to the manager. An Indian gentleman I'm assuming is the assistant told me to talk to Luis the manager. Once Luis was done with his customer he came to assist, just to tell me he couldn't do it. The same gentlemen who told me to wait he said should've been the one to help from the beginning. I over heard him asking the teller that denied me if he called. And the answer is NO he never called to verify a CITIBANK N.A. check which stands for north America because I know. I used to be a personal banker for citi years ago. I dont want this to be a race thing because I am black, but I am hurt and confused and stuck without funds during this hurricane for me and my children. Things like this needs to be addressed not to mention the already bad reviews for this FC representing potentially the largest institution in the world. Maybe that's the problem why care. Horrible!
