Went into this bank today to withdraw money and was racially profiled.The teller asked me was I using my card (insinuating I was using someone else card). As a black woman it’s very disrespectful to be asked that especially when you work hard for your money. Even if he felt like I was using someone else’s card he could have just asked me for my ID which he did not do.

Although the "1-800 number" told me that the branch close to me would have tellers available, they were wrong and the branch was closed. I bank at a few banks but could not find anything that was available on a Saturday. I went to the location at the MacArthur airport where another customer told me that the Bay Shore branch had employees working on a Saturday. I arrived, waited on line (moved fast) and explained my situation to a teller. He was not interested in assisting me and was quite short. I did not like his attitude and chose to speak with the representative at the lobby desk. I met with Fanny Mendez and she was outstanding. Fanny was patient, kind, helpful, and her main goal was to offer excellent customer service (unlike the teller that I originally met with.) A company should want people to brag about them and I am comfortable bragging about Fanny. She should train people on how to treat the clients that bank with you. She spent so much time with me and although I could not take care of what I intended to (no fault of hers,) I am glad to have met her and worked with her. I believe in providing both negative and positive reviews and I would have given a "5" but the teller had a poor approach to customer service. Thank you, Fanny. I hope you all stay safe and healthy.

bad attention . I was on the line to be treated and there was nobody. I went to change a personal check. I do not have an account in the bank but the check was from the same bank. the young lady who was attending said that it could not happen and that she had to wait for the bank customers to pass. I have to wait because I'm not a client. I told him: there is no one in the line, that's why I'm here. and he treated me very rude. and he warned me that next time. I have to let them be clients of the bank if I'm not I have to wait.

The only male teller is such a snotty person. Everytime I go there and end up being assisted by him, every single transactions makes it seem like you're asking him to do impossible tasks (i.e: asks for money in certain bills, asks for coin rollers, even asking for a couple of money envelopes). The other tellers are a little better but they also make it seem like you're asking for a lot.

I think the workers are nice BUT I also find it inconvenient that only ONE teller can cash my check since I am not a citi bank member. (They make you wait on a separate line if you are not a member getting a check cashed).

I previously used Chase, but after many bad experiences w both the local branch and their 800 customer service I switched to Citi, Citi employees are always very nice and go the extra mile to ensure that you are completely satisfied w your banking needs. I can’t say enough good things about the Citi employees at the Bay Shore branch!

Mike is awesome and the tellers are on point?? great customer service, fast service and always smiling, i would like the phone at branch to be picked up more but other than that awesome professional branch

Impossible to reach by phone. Even calling the branch manager directly gets you no where. No late night hours so if you have a job you will never be able to get to the bank. I have had horrible customer service at this branch.
