I recently switched from Wells Fargo after 13 years to Chase and just from the two times I’ve been into the Mt. Dora branch for help, both tellers went above and beyond. Kevin, who noticed my Birthday was coming up from the ID and wished me a happy one! That was so thoughtful and really made my morning better. The other young lady with the beautiful dreads/locs with the wooden beads. I don’t remember her name but she was the first face of Chase that greeted me and helped me realize that wish I would have switched banks sooner! I appreciate the friendliness and patience of each banker instead of the usual rush to get you out of the door I’ve been used to experiencing. Thank you all

Worst bank ever! Puts 10 day holds on every check you try to deposit! It doesn’t matter the amount of money or where the check is from every time 10 to 14 day hold! Been bank here over year thought the longer you stayed the better it would get but clearly that’s not the case! Waiting for holds to be taking off my checks and will be closing all of my accounts with them!

They had a banker sitting at her desk with no one in there with her but you can't speak to them without an appointment. Seriously I needed to open an account and they wouldn't do it without an appointment and she didn't even tell me when there were available appointments. Heading to a different bank now. Ridiculous!

I have been a Chase customer since 2007 and now I know why internet banking makes more sense. Because they don’t have outrageous fees like the brick and mortar. Today I was fleeced at Chase Bank Mt Dora, and the customer service was subpar. I have mortgages with J P Morgan but the just charged me a $10.00 service fee on a $60.00 check! The teller is unable to understand corporate procedures, and does not honor customer loyalty. I just looked into these no fee e-banks which are much more efficient, and I’m switching over my Chase accounts.

The atm machine ate my 1500 cash deposit. Took an hour to get through customer service and was told they can’t do anything and it would take them 30 days to investigate.

I was treated very rudely today at a bank that I have had accounts with for years. I may not have the biggest accounts but I am still a customer. I needed something notarized and when I walked in there was a woman sitting in a chair and two guys standing. The guys went into one of the cubicles and I went to stand where they had been. A teller called over to me and said we can't have people standing in the lobby, give me your phone number and you can wait in your car, it will probably be 30 minutes or you can make an appointment. There was a woman standing in the lobby by the door who came in after me and was never acknowledged. They say people cannot be in the lobby but on Fridays especially there are lots of people waiting in line for a teller. I feel I was treated very rudely and I will spend my day off tomorrow shopping for another bank. I also have two chase credit cards that I spend thousands on every year and those will also be cancelled. By the way, I went to First National Bank in Mount Dora where I am not a customer and they happily notarized my document. Chase Bank is just too big to care any more. I would recommend taking your banking business to another bank.

Some of the worst customer service at this bank, especially Tara bird. Apparently it's not the only complaint against her either. I'm attempting to close out an account and last week it was walk INS and everything's fine. Their machine breaks and they can't give me a check and they say come back next week when it's working. I called to make sure that it was working to day. I walk in and now I need an appointment to finish up my paper work. 4 times and I still haven't been able to close out the account because of this customer service issue. They also charge A lot of fees on the Chase accounts bank somewhere else.

After years of doing business with this bank we're done. We have 6 or more accounts there and today I'm told existing customers can't come into the lobby but they sure are willing to let all sorts of "NEW ACCOUNTS" in to help them in any way possible. If this is how they treat existing and long term customers...... we're done.

Have a friend who is disabled and has difficulty getting around. Today he asked me to make a cash payment on his Chase charge card. He had all the proper documents filled out and even gave me his drivers license and chg card in case it was needed. I got to the bank and was told NO they would not accept his cash payment from me. I asked to speak with a mgr and was told that she was off. I asked to speak with an asst mgr and was laughed at. I signed in and waited and waited and waited and no one would talk with me to explain why it was policy that I could not make a payment for someone so disabled. I wanted to see the policy in writing. After a 20 min wait I gave up and left. Got to tell you, the teller was the nastiest woman I've ever experienced working for ANY bank! Additionally, Chase should be ashamed of itself for refusing to accept a cash payment for a Chase charge card because the owner was too weak to walk and do it himself. I would be interested in seeing the WRITTEN POLICY that says I could not walk in and make a payment for someone clearly unable to do so on their own. The Chase Bank location was: 18925 US Hwy 441, Mt Dora, FL, 32757. I would appreciate answers!
