Waited for a hour to see someone about a simple debit card replacement. 1. Inform people of availability of reservation option. Not everyone has the time to keep up with Chase banks latest offerings 2. Rethink how to process debit card replacements. Only after complaining about someone being put ahead of me in line, did someone assist me without the need for a banker. Waited for an hour for apparently no reason. I could've had this done in 5 minutes. After all that, left without still having this resolved

We showed up 30 min before closing and they said there is not enough time to see me…I just wanted to update my data on file.

NOTE: This review applies to CHASE in general and not necessarily to this branch. Stay away! You deserve less bureaucracy. I applied online for a CHASE FREEDOM VISA SIGNATURE credit card account. I have excellent credit score. Very low debt and thought the card offered interesting benefits. About a week after applying online I received a letter over the mail (instead of a simple email) requesting that I fax a copy of my physical social security card to them. Initially I thought it was just spam or someone trying to steal my identity. After all, in 2020 who has a fax machine at home? I googled for a number for Chase support and called them to verify. To my surprise, it was true! They actually wanted the document either faxed or mailed (midst COVID). Upon questioning them about online alternatives they gave me an option to upload via Docusign sent to my email. I thought: "Awesome! Simple. This will work". I could not be more wrong. About a week after uploading the document, I received another letter (instead of an email again). Advising me that my upload was illegible! Ridiculous. I uploaded a well framed picture of my card against a black background using an iPhone camera. Of course, I then proceeded to call them (by then we are almost 3 weeks post application submission). I waited in line for a while and finally got to speak with a customer representative. Upon questioning him about the issue he offered me a different explanation! Apparently, the model of SSN card that I have was no longer acceptable as of 2 days before my application was processed! They stopped accepting it on July 22nd and my application was processed on July 24th. Did you know there were different models of social security cards?! I did not. Upon questioning them about this and trying to figure out a workaround they were adamant that the only way to get any of chase products approved would be to get a new SSN card with the IRS. In summary, I wasted hours of my time filling out the application, scanning documents and speaking on the phone and ended up with no new credit card. You can find yourself better options with other banks. In my case, I filled out a form online with American Express and a few hours latter: Voila! An EMAIL in my inbox with the message "you are approved". A few days latter the physical American Express credit arrived. No hassle. No invalid document model. No phone call. Just simple. We are in the 21st century. If something seems harder than it needs to be. It is.

As a working individual looking to put money in a bank, I can only make the opening hours on Saturday. So I walked in to open an account, finding 8 or so people waiting on the couches, 10 or so in line at the cashier, and about 6 people at the door wanting to open accounts. In less than 5 minutes, I saw the manager turn away these people for appointment only, she also waived away the people saying they couldn’t open online accounts because of a glitch in the system. I get several emails a week for promo offers to open an account. No glitch with filling my in box. I’m very disappointed in the way this branch handled things. I’ve had a chase credit card for decades, and never had this experience.

I’ve been a JPMChase customer for years, originating in NYC. I’ve never experienced the level of horrific service as I did at this branch. The worst location I’ve ever had the displeasure of visiting. Between being treated rudely regarding the mind-boggling layout (the “Teller” area truly unrecognizable) with staff galore standing around waiting not to greet you. Once you breech the wall of attitude, quickly the response is you can do that online/in App. Fabulous, exactly why I took a trip to be treated poorly & have you continue to mistakenly repeat this mantra. Until I “prove to you all - yes 2-4 Associates are jointly telling me essentially “ba bye” albeit incorrectly.” Then to the odd coat-check like Teller who seems confused she needs to perform work (the other 4 I’m sure bobble heading “yes” behind me). Ultimately, no one can link my multiple accounts properly. Fees - not applicable for multiple reasons - not addressed. Felt like a thief keeping the pen after writing down my new instructions - phone customer service Was able to withdraw large cash sum. For deposit in other Institution. Plenty of parking.

I can’t wait to do business with Chase (I already closed all my Bank of America accounts). I switched my merchant account for credit card processing from BAC to Chase, I couldn’t have been happier. I have their Chase Ink credit card. I will be one of your few customers at your Dedham branch. Please open a branch in Cambridge!

Typical Big Bank Stuff! FEES FEES FEES AND MORE FEES. My boss accidentally put 15k in my bank and then I drive to this branch to wire it back the welcome attendant tells me yes we will waive the $35 fee just wait here. I wait for a hour to meet with someone I get in the office then the guy says we can’t waive the fee but you can pay then we will reverse it to you. Then we finish up the wire he then tells me no we can’t waive the fee. These big banks are always lying I was disgusted I after I left I am closing the account ASAP. Big Bank liars.

Have to fax some documents for address verification, but same get rejected for unknown reasons. Not enough branches in MA, the nearest one for me is 27 miles :( , which really makes it difficult to do business with them
