In the process of taking legal action because I experienced the most racist and discriminatory interaction. The Banker Oscar called me Africa in a rude condescending manner..1. I’m black and that’s racists because THERE’S NO F. I asked to speak to the manager was denied, he told me he would file a complaint on my behalf.. I came in to obtain the money from my account after a chase phone representatives affirmed me multiple times I can obtain my funds. I go into the branch was treated very rudely. The entire interaction was extremely racist and discriminatory. I’m extremely saddened and disappointed that chase treats their black customers like this. Oscar was extremely proud to hand me his card after I complained and asked for a manager AND legal information and get decline. There was no yelling or screaming. Just rude, condescending and passive aggression.

I don't do banking with Chase and received a paycheck ISSUED by Chase Bank. After showing identification, I was told that I'd have to pay a $10 fee to cash a check issued by them since I don't bank with them. I've never heard of such nonsense. The lady, who might have been the manager, was extremely unaccommadating and rude beyond belief. Even if I would consider switching banks, it certainly wouldn't be with Chase, especially this branch, considering I even got screamed at. Absolutely appalling and unprofessional beyond belief.

Came into the Troy branch to open a business account, add my wife to my personal account, and to set up an account for our son. 4 HOURS later we finished or so I thought. 10 minutes down the road I received a call from them saying they forgot to have me sign something and I needed to come back. If you’re not familiar with what traffic is like in Big Beaver Rd consider yourself lucky. Begrudgingly, I turned around and went back to sign the form. Had to wait 15 minutes for them to finally get everything straightened out, but we did it. 10 minutes down the road I received another call (this is not a joke). “We’re so sorry, but we had you sign the wrong form and you’re account can’t be opened unless it’s signed”. I pulled over and smashed my head in the car door several times just to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. I wasn’t. NOW, if you’re not familiar with what traffic is like on Big Beaver Rd I’ll spare you and just say it’s Hellish. Sometime later I finally returned and signed the form, and after approximately 6 hours we had finished. A week later my wife went to our usual bank in Rochester to deposit some money and they told her (ready for this?) SHE WASN’T ON THE ACCOUNT. She inquired about the business account and our son’s account and was told they were never set up. I wish I was making this up, but I’m not. This level of incompetence is inexcusable. I wish I could give them zero stars.

Couldn't open a bank account for my husband here. they say he needed a ss# his is from another country.. so I just make a appointment at another branch and easily they accepted his 2 ids.Consultate.and a passport .but a this branch big beaver troy they say no even when I explain that you guys have a lot of customers that apply like this that I knw of friends, family .etc

Chase Bank itself is a great bank BUT, it depends to which bank clerk you will talk to. There is a lady (I don’t want to give a name to ruin her here) who doesn’t know even simple basics of communication with the customers. If you ask her to repeat something twice, she gets mad at you! if you don’t remember what she explained, she gets mad at you! She expects you be like a banker knowing all stuff she explained from account opening day! The impression she gave me was so annoying that I didn’t want to stay for even 1 sec. Remember, customer comes First, no matter you need explain something 10 times.

Thank you JP Morgan & Chase for charging people overdraft fees during a worldwide crisis. Millions of people are struggling right now to keep their heads above water but why would that matter to you people when you can charge them upwards of 40 dollars for not having 18 cents in their account? Right now is the perfect time to do it since no one can pay you back and no one can switch banks! Thank you for taking money I don't even have away from me during this epidemic, it should really come in handy when I need to pay rent next month.

I went to deposit money in to my account on Jan 8th in to Troy branch. the cashier named Nianun handled me. she is not welcoming, and she mostly treated like she is annoyed of doing the deposit for me. and i have clearly mentioned in the slip to deposit into Savings account. but she deposited into Checking account. I made 3 deposit transactions in the same time. all 3 she made it into checking account. at the end i have asked what is the minimum balance to be maintained on my account. she told she can't answer my question. looks like she was in a hurry. i don't understand why people are not treating the customers the right way now a days. mostly all the cashiers at Chase bank i faced so far has been good. i had no complain. but Nianun has been different. Hope she improve herself.

I was appalled by the discrimination and racism I experienced at this branch. I wish I got her name, the women working, Saturday the 6th, before getting any of my information she assumed I was not a citizen. She only switched her tone after she heard my career. On top of being racist she messed up my accounts and froze them. I am super upset with this transaction and this branch. I will be changing banks entirely after this interaction. I am so disappointed.

I stopped here to open a business account. I had a DBA and was all ready to go. One of the personal/business bankers went WAY out of his way to help me. I wish I asked him his name. This guy gave me a ton of information about the difference in DBA, LLC and INC he literally helped me file my LLC right there spent over a hour helping me. All the while he knew I wasn’t going to be able to get my bank account that day because we had to wait for it to show up on the LARA page. And he STILL did all of this for me. I will forever be a Chase customer because of this mans actions. I cannot thank him enough.

We just need get our signatures notarized during our lunch break. We wee told we would be taken care soon a few times so we continued to wait. We had impression that we did not have to wait for long. After waiting for 35 min, nobody even bothered to ask us. It did not seem they care at all. We had to leave wasting our lunch hour for nothing.
