Centris Federal Credit Union Spaulding Plz, Omaha

There's 2 people specifically at this location, who are really top tier at their jobs as tellers. I forgot the girl's name but she is taller with longer hair mid 20's. Other guy that works there is named Zach, he is a standup guy. I pretty much just go to the bank to deposit checks and I do notice that every time I see both of them they are the type of people that radiate good energy. They are people I would go out of my way to write a review for so if anything comes about just want to let you guys know I appreciate your service. 👍🏻

I’ve been a Centris member for several years now. I’ve used U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo, First National, SAC Federal Credit, and Creighton Federal. Centris consistently is offering competitive rates, and excellent customer service. My favorite part is that there’s no hidden fees with my bank account. Definitely my favorite bank for savings accounts to date.

I had an account with Centris at one point, but thankfully I left them behind. I ultimately closed my accounts because they had a hard time getting something as simple as my address correct. Statements would make it to me, but my replacement cards would go to an old address. When trying to use cards online, it would say my address was incorrect and reject the payment. After months of this we closed everything out. Today only reinforced my reasons for leaving. I sold some furniture and took a check for it. I’m always a bit leery of taking checks in the off chance that they bounce and I get stuck holding a useless check and a returned check fee. So I brought in the check for $75 drawn off of Centris to cash it. Now I’ve worked at a bank and people did this all the time. All we needed was ID and a fingerprint. Not Centris... they also want your SSN and a $5 check cashing fee?!?! Are you kidding me? Centris can shove their high fees and incompetence where the sun doesn’t shine. I’m glad I’m no longer a customer and I would advise everyone to stay away.

Had one of the best experiences I have ever had at a bank next to them giving me free money Zack is a gem and he should get raise or two. The whole team there worked together actually to help us but Zack is just cool..... ;)

I am giving Centris this rating only because if you deposit a large amount check they hold it for 5 Business days. I know all financial institutions do this. It is very annoying. They know within 2 or 3 days whether it is real or not. They are waiting for your account to go negative so they can charge you. Officially looking for a new Credit Union.

Not only is their online banking system outdated to the point of being unusable... but the employees didn't even bother to show up to open the bank today! 45 minutes past opening time and not an employee car in the parking lot. I had to drive across town to another branch that bothered to open. So much for being able to get to work on time after running to the bank.

Their website and app are under constant construction and there isn’t a number to reach their office directly. You’ll be pushed through to a call center where I’ve never waited less than ten minutes. If you decide to open an account, be sure to get a bankers personal phone number or you’ll have to wait for the call center or happen to catch the app between site construction which I’ve only been able to log in twice in the past two years. I’ll be closing my account and going to Pinnacle Bank. Local banks still believe in customer service.

Been a member/customer for >30 years. Business and personal accounts. Have never had a bad experience.
