Remember their commercial We Rock - You Rock, tell us your story? Here is my story, called "bait and switch by BECU". I was shopping for a loan and BECU had the lowest rate of 4.25% that I was quoted over the phone by Arnessa from their telephone loan center. So, I went ahead and applied over the phone. However, when I went to the Everett branch to sign my loan documents, I've noticed that my rate on the final paperwork was half of the point higher to 4.75%. When I questioned the difference between what I was quoted over the phone and the actual rate, Steve, who processed my loan paperwork told me it's because I declined automatic payment option. I was never told that the rate is based on the payment option, so I was misled by two of BECU employees; by Arnessa at the loan application center and by Steve who processed my loan docs at the Everett branch. At that point I've asked Steve to add the automatic payment option and he told me that it was too late because the loan was already finalized at that time. Just when I thought that BECU was one of the few honest and local community banks left out there, they've proven me wrong. So, here is my commercial for BECU: We Rock- You Suck BECU! Terrible experience with a smiling teller and 'manager' who refused to honor a check issued by their bill pay service. 'Not our problem' was basically what I was told after I declined to open a an account.

This is one of the rare businesses I trust and would recommend to anyone. I've been with them for over 10 years. They're more strict with loans, making them harder to get some times but their deals are great.

Well if you have to deposit more than (5-6) $20 or $100 dollar bills go inside (to a human) as the ATM machine will sometimes not register the deposit. Then it will give you recipt saying "To contact you banking instution". Up to you to prove that you deposited the cash. They almost dont belive the paper slip from ATM! Very bad, banking without envelopes! Wish the ATMs still used envelopes here.

BECU canceled my misplaced debit and printed me out a new one all within 10 minutes. No fee no judgment, all smiles. I love these guys!

Doesn't cater to folks like me, less than great credit and all

This location took me by surprise as it is much bigger than any other BECU branch I've ever been in. Great service and help were provided by Lubna Hajwane. She answered absolutely all my questions and explained everything about the details of my loan. Thank you again!

They’re always so nice and helpful. They also have a drive thru which is nice. The employees are awesome and one time I lost my social security card here and they got it back to me safely. 5 stars.
