I don’t recommend this institution. After a yr or so banking with them so took our direct deposits somewhere else due to the issues my husband had with them and consist fraudulent charges. Recently their system was compromised and I kept getting charges on every debit card. Then to use different accts for edeposit and for them to put flags on my acct just because I legitimately have accts elsewhere. I’m through with this institution for good. I’ll just keep my money with the other institutions I normally bank at.

We used BHFCU for a number of years and have loved it. They are very friendly and helpful in every way. We hated to leave but moved to an area they are not in. If they opened another branch near us, we’d be back.

I love this bank. My God dad brought me here after I bought my first new car to open account so I could refiance after a year and get a lower interest rate. I was looking for a smaller bank anyways. As always god dad never stears me wrong! I got a SUPER low rate. AND the process was super easy and fast! I thought it would be really complicated, it was such a breeze. I've never had a bad experience working with any members of the bank. I love my bank!!!

I own Firehouse Towing LLC & The Palms Cleaning Service LLC. I started banking with Bayer when I financed my home about 8 years ago. The people at the Goose Creek location were fenomonal from the time I walked through the door. I honestly was stunned on how easy they made my financing for the home. I was in and out and out of the bank so quickly due to the efficiency of the staff I almost had to ask again if I actually had the loan. No I don't mean to be ugly about this next statement but I do bank wit two banks. First Citizens and obviously Bayer. I banked with first citizens for both my personal and business accounts for over 20 years. Literally every time I applied for any type of loan with First Citizens it was always problematic and sadly enough they would never finance me for anything. I applied for credit cards ,Denied, applied for business line of credit Denied, applied for Crutial Vehicle for my business,, Denied and so on... Bayer on the other hand was totally opposite. I applied for my home litrally just after opening an account and guess what....APPROVED! Honestly just amazing THEY DIDNT EVEN KNOW ME! Then less than a year later I applied for the same critical equipment for my towing company Guess what, APPROVED! Then most recently I requested to re-finance equipment but this time inquired over the phone for the loan (something I never did before) talked to them less than 5 minutes, the staff on the phone said basicly give me 5 min after providing info AND GUESS WHAT... They call back and again APPROVED! They said what branch would you like to sign the paper work at? I said Goose Creek. So they said go there and they will have it ready. I go to Goose Creek Branch tell them I'm here to sign for a vehicle re-finance I walk in to finance office the wonderful lady pulls up the information on the screen thorough explains the loan I sign in 4 or 5 places she prints out packet I withdraw the money so fast the seat didn't have time to get warm! Litrally no exaggeration!!. I'm in a painful process now of changing over all my funds to Bayer as we speak. I honestly have NEVER had such a wonderful experience with a bank and I want to HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BANK TO ANY SMALL / LARGE BUSINESS OR ANYONE THAT WANTS OUTSTANDING SERVICE FROM A BANK. I'M CONVINCED BAYER JUST CAN'T BE BEAT! Thanks to all the staff you are all wonderful!

I have been a member for several years. I was extremely disappointed in my recent visit. I understand we are all HUMAN but my deposit was put into someone else's account. I was lucky I caught it by looking and noticing the name and address printed on the receipt was not mine later that evening. I called the following day and asked for the branch manager apparently he/she was busy. Waited and waited no call not even a courtesy call saying it was corrected and put in my account! I am so glad this is not my everyday bank! I only keep this account because its less than 2 minutes from my house. I have accounts that I use everyday at navy federal and heritage trust and never encountered this issue nor lack of concern for their customers.

Horrible service. I was the third party involved in the purchase of a boat. The owner of the boat had a loan for the boat with Bayer Heritage. First, I had a certified check cut from Navy Federal Credit Union to the account holder at Bayer Heritage. Because the check said his name "and" mine, they would not take my money without me having a checking account with them. I asked to open and account and they would not do it on the spot, they said I would have to come back. I had a second check cut from Navy Federal to the Bayer Heritage account holder in his name only. When we went to deposit that check. We sat in line until 9:15am and the bank never opened, even though they were supposed to open at 9am. Once the money was finally deposited Bayer Heritage then wanted to send the title to my bank. I explained I have to have the title to register the boat and add insurance to it before my bank gets the titles. Why I had to explain that is beyond me but in addition, they did not believe me. I had to do a 3-way call with Navy Federal and get them to explain it to Bayer Heritage. Now we are 10 business days later and I have no titles, my boat is still not registered, and the only number I have for Bayer Heritage is the 1-800 customer service number. After going through the call center, they transferred me to the local branch. After explaining my situation the rep said she would call me back in just a few min, she needed to "do more investigation on this issue." 30 minutes later she called back to tell me they were mailed to me but they put the previous owners name on the envelope. As it is illegal to open someone else’s mail my wife and I had it marked as wrong address and were going to send it back in the mail. Fortunately, I figured this all out by speaking with Bayer Heritage this morning and was able to retrieve it before it went back to the post office. NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

I could never recommend this credit union based on my husband’s experience with them. He has had an account with them for many years, and since we have been married he has constantly been telling me about this random miscellaneous fees they have been charging him. Most recently they charged him a $40 fee for not updating his address with them after we bought a house. How they even got his new address I will never know. Over the course of our marriage they have probably zapped $100+ from his savings account for fees that make absolutely no sense. So much for “fee free” banking.

Just say "No" to all the fees at the big banks and come to Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union. Nice, friendly people. Great website, great iPhone app, free ATM network and warm, friendly, personalized service. I've been banking there since 2011 and you can't go wrong.

All of my visits to Bayer have been a pleasant experience. The reps are knowledgeable and friendly. More importantly, Bayer Heritage was always there to assist me with my loan needs. There were no hassles or red tape i had to go through for them to approve my loan. I would recommend this bank to anyone who are interested!

The place was friendly but my debit card never came. Then 3 weeks later I get a letter saying I'm going to be charged for returned mail. Why was my card returned when that letter made it perfectly fine? On top of that I registered for online banking so I could use the app...even wrote literally everything down... And could never login. Now account is locked with no way of contacting BHFCU till 9am. I need access to my account right now!
