Bank of the West N Valle Verde Dr, Henderson

Im not to happy with the bank policies overall but this branch is solid. Most bank transactions i do are online or over the phone, but the few times i had to go to the branch it was a good experience. This branch even called me when they suspected a fraudulent transaction.

Disappointing experience, another reason why I can't stand banks, never fails, fees policies fees......sticking to my Credit Union, where one gets treated better..

DO NOT TRUST THIS BANK!!!! ABSOLUTELY NO customer service. I opened an account in September and never was given online access to my account (which was specifically established online and was to be an online account) nor ever recieved any customer service from any of the numerous calls I made to the bank. Each time I called, I waited for more than fifteen minutes to then be transfered to the online banking department where I was placed on hold for upwards of two hours every time, never able to actually speak to any one. Every time I attempted to do a reset on the online site to get a new password the site would respond that it was temporarily unavailable. So after months of this issue persisting, I recieve a bill via postcard in the mail stating my account was overdrawn and I am being charge $135 for a $30 overdraft that I was never aware of being that I never recieved any paper statement because it was solely an online account. Shortly after I recieved a call from their collections department where I explained the whole situation and asked to speak to a supervisor when told that the customer service rep couldn't assist me. This happened twice but I never recieved the call from a supervisor. I was finally told to call a branch because they had no way of getting me to a supervisor. Another month had gone by by this time. Now I'm being told that the account has been charged off and the regional customer service manager says the bank is not responsible and will not reverse the charge off where mind you the money is not the issue. I attempted to pay when I spoke to the supervisor and instead she noted the account that I could not pay after telling me she could not take the payment over the phone, payment would need to be made in person. At this time I was out of state. The only assistance I got was from the branch manager Isabelle who is new and did her best to assist me although it seems it is too little too late. Being a business owner myself this seems like more of a scam than an actual attempt to have a lucrative business. I will be informing the BBB of these obstructive business practices and breach of services conducted by this business.

Worst bank in the city of Henderson! I had a dispute question and after standing on line forever for the one person that was working I was told to either go to the other side and talk to some guy that also had a huge line waiting for him or to come back another time when they aren't busy!

I went to cash a paycheck drawn from this bank at this location and was told the account it was drawn from didn't have the money which was a complete lie!

I have had many banks in my life but this is by far the worst. Yelp rating is 1 out of 10, mapquest rating is 1.5 out of 5, and somehow they are rated 2.1 out of 5 here. Needs some revamping inside. The staff has no personality (my primary concern!!) 5 visits now 4 out of 5 I felt like I was inconveniencing them. There is no one that welcomes you when you enter or while you wait. Its really just a bank if you are in desperate need of a bare minimum bank..idk why u would want this bank. I am signing up for a new one already and its only been 3 months. I still get a portion of my check sent here til this day just because I paid $60 for checks so might as well use them for rent payments. Pro: added a star for ATM dispensing $5 bills. That can be convenient and is a rare find. Updated monthly (10/22/18)

Having a major problem with this branch. Deposited check through mobile app last night, today I found out they are holding it for 10 days. Asked them to cancel the check so I could cash it elsewhere, and the branch is refusing. Talked to 5 people in customer service that said the bank has the power to help me. Rent is due tomorrow, have 2 diapers left, utilities due tomorrow, and they have the power to help me. The least compassionate people and bank you will ever encounter in your life!

I am shocked at the negative reviews. As a twenty year customer, they have never failed in delivering prompt and professional service. The customer service I have experienced there has been superb. I particularly like the Henderson branch where you walk up to an executive desk and have a seat with the teller.

Great location! Friendly staff. Drive thru teller & ATM. So much better than my old bank! Easy, smooth banking.

I wouldn't bank at this bank again if they paid me to. They put a 3 business day hold on a payroll check, I have called there toll free number and the branch I go to regularly for 10 + years, no explanation, just rude responses. I will be permanently closing my accounts with them tomorrow. Their ATM's are just "a problem" to make deposits thru, I have been told this by bank employees more than once. Never again, I'll be taking my business and my money elsewhere!
