Poor service. Treated rudely upon entering. icking up foreign money and screener at door told me to go sit down it could be a half hour. Email notice I got only said bring ID. Teller demanded I have cell phone, wanted to send some code, then ordered me to sign in to mobile banking which I do not use and could provide the additional unnecessary data. Got mad, frustrated and left. Win go back in a day or two with wife to assist me dealing with this. I am 75 BTW.

Was easy to make an appointment online to meet with someone. Marissa was excellent in assisting my wife and I with some minor account changes. Would definitely recommend.

Really rude teller.. made me feel uncomfortable. They also charge 8 dollars to the account holder if they write a check and you cash it at their bank.

The most useless bank I have ever had in my entire life. Can’t help you with anything . Tells you to call a number and the number doesn’t answer or when it does it will hang up mid conversation THREE times. Couldn’t unlock my account when I have my ID in my hand! Your BANK OF AMERICA??! Ask to tlak to somebody else and she said no sorry.

COVID broke out, and in my most desperate time of need as a business owner, I turned to BOA for help after the govt shut me down from April 1-20th. The PPP had just been announced and the SBA referred all business owners to their banks for help and to have their questions answered. I went to BOA to ask about the program and they told me they to call a PPP number they set up. I called and no one answered...for weeks....over 100 attempts. I went back to the banking center because I couldn't get answers over the phone. When I walked in they quickly rushed me toward the door when I asked for help. They literally, and physically, escorted me out of the building....for ASKING FOR HELP!!! Finally, a month later I get an email that the PPP portal was open and that I could apply. I did finally get the application done but since I do not pay myself through my payroll system BOA would not include my own salary in the loan amount. This affected me about $20,000. When the 2ND draw PPP rolled out, BOA became even more negligent. On January 12th, 2021 the SBA opened the portal for banks to begin sending applications. I prepared my documents and waited for guidance and I waited and after almost a week of an 8 week window, BOA sends me a link to apply. However, this link is only available in the ONE email they send you. Don't delete or lose the email or you lose your ability to apply for the loan. The link takes you to a portal to submit documents. The documents that the SBA need are extremely specific: -quarterly tax returns -a pic of the owner's license -your profit and loss statement for 2019 and 2020 -payroll processor report showing wages and taxes paid by employee by date for the entire year of 2019 Rather than BOA saying "upload your 941" they worded the portal arbitrarily so that it was left to interpretation of what the SBA was looking for. Rather than answering a straight-forward question when you called to ask what form they were looking for, their answer was to "read the notes that the underwriter" left...which were basically, to upload the document exactly as it was worded on the portal which was no help. So I'd upload the documents to the portal and the next day I'd get an email that there was an issue with the documents and they "did not support the loan amount requested" and that I had to either upload the appropriate document" or "adjust the total loan amount requested". This went on for 8 weeks. Finally, 2 weeks before the deadline the SBA changed the rules and allowed for owner compensation. BOA sends me a message that my loan application has been paused while they "wait on guidance from the SBA on how to calculate this amount". I wait over 2 weeks and each time I call (daily) they give me the run around telling me that the SBA isn't allowing them to send applications. I called the SBA and was told that I was lied to about this. Finally, they send a message that my loan amount has been increased to include owner's pay. I approve the amount. Nothing happens for over a week so I call. They tell me that the SBA isn't opening the portal for them to send loans. The SBA said that was not factual. I call BOA again and again and again. They finally send it through and 5 days before the deadline I get a message that the loan application was denied because of a social security discrepancy. BOA automatically puts this on the portal, we do not enter it. So I spent 10 weeks, countless hours on the phone, uploaded documents over and over and over, for them to drop the ball in the final hour over a social security number "mistake". I feel that BOA did not want to handle my loan because I am such a small company that the fees were minimal that they'd earn so they gave me the run around while they focused their attention on the biggest loans so they could make the most money. I would have been fine with that if they had told me from the beginning that they didn't want to help me. I ended up going with a tiny bank that got my loan approved in less than a week. BOA is JUST TOO BIG TO CARE!!!!

Normally I would go through the drive through or use the ATM but I had to cash a check that needed 2 forms of ID. 2 people ahead of me so no big deal right? First the male standing literally 2 feet inside the door didn’t speak or greet anyone as I/we walked directly in front of him or even when called by phone from 6 feet across the room by a telller to turn a key. Frustrated that my card was already inactive and temporarily suspended and having waited 20 minutes to reach the counter I explain to the teller as I hand over my ID and bank card that I would need a new card. 40 minutes later the checks were cashed NO BANK CARD STILL and a lot of empty offices with employees waiting on invisible appointments. Disappointed that this was my preferred bank location up to this point. Maybe the staff that I am use to dealing with switched branches or on vacation but for sure they are needed/missed and valued.

I’m so disappointed with this bank stood in line for 10 minutes, just to cash a check. Then was told because I don’t bank here I need to have a seat and wait for someone to fingerprint me. There’s 3 people working in offices and ONE teller. The one girl at the front door asked 3 people after me what she could help them with, but not me. If she had asked I would’ve saved the 10 minutes waiting in line. One of the offices clears up and the woman at the front and the guy working the office start having a casual conversation meanwhile I am still sitting waiting just to cash a check. A $30 check. Finally get helped by someone after 25 minutes of sitting, and I tell him that I just need to be fingerprinted to cash this check. He says hold on and gets a fingerprint pad from...... wait for it........ BEHIND the tellers counter. So why do I have to be seated and wait to be fingerprinted by someone in an office? And finally he takes my fingerprint and my check and then come back and tell me they have to charge $8 to cash the check because I don’t bank with them even though the check was from their bank, ridiculous.

The blonde manager is VERY rude and not helpful. Her skill level communicating with clients are poor and she does not realize she is responsible for all her employees whether they make mistakes or do a good job. The only friendly and efficient person is a young teller. I feel bad for her because they are always understaffed and she works very hard with a great attitude. She works the drive through window AND the people inside. I am sorry I forget her name.

Terrible customer service, feels like Im being talked down to. Lengthy wait times, Rude staff, a manager who doesnt have a clue in the world... I guess people bank here because they dont want the hassle of going to a new bank. Well, let me tell you that its worth every second spent. Canceled my BOA account and got an account at a credit union. Extremely happy with my decision. Goodbye BOA and good riddance.
