I took time to read all of the reviews so I feel as though I should write one. It seems that a lot of employees would have made a bad reputation for the bank but I have been dealing with this branch since last November and I have been mostly satisfied, I dealt with staff on 3 occasions for transactions Involving credit and information, and each person was able to handle the situation or refer me appropriately. The drive thru atm is perfect for me as I am there almost everyday. I think, based on the reviews, the branch has improved alot because I recently moved to Chicago. There are some details to fine tune, but overall they're headed In the right direction, at this point the current staff maybe just needs the encouragement and support to continue improving. I have no doubt that they will become one of the better branches.

This location is constantly closed with some vague sign posted. When they are open it is usually only 1 teller. They also gave me attitude when I had 6 business deposits to do but they piled up because they were closed for several weeks with no communication. Started the process of moving my business account elsewhere.

Don’t come to this branch if you want to open an account or you wish to be treated respectfully. We were there 45 min before the bank is closed and the manager told us they don’t have any banker to help us, so we should come back tomorrow can you believe that? I told him it is urgent and I asked him if he can help us himself and he said he cannot do it. Then why are you a manager? A manager is usually the most capable person not the least! Never have seen such a bad customer service.

Had a scheduled meeting yesterday and the rep was not there..I was specifically there to help out a Romanian elderly woman with her online banking, had a few questions that I was told had to be resolved with her in person several weeks ago. The guy that came up 15 minutes later did not invite us into a private office but we had to sit in the lobby with my laptop on my lap to explain and translate. Very unprofessional still not resolved, if there is a way someone can give the branch manager's name that would be helpful.

I have been a BoA customer for more than a decade. I lost $500 worth of promotion reward because of the manager's miscommunication of information and BoA trying to trick their customers by playing with the words on their promo ads. Who would have known that the word "directly" clearly meant "the money can't stay in my BoA checking account for 24h"??? I tried emailing and calling the manager or anyone in the branch to ask for clarification on the agreement and to ensure the deals are set, but never heard back a word. To the teller in CA I got contacted with, I told him how disappointing it is to be treated like this as a long time highest tier customer. He said it sucks to be in my position, but their hands are tied because it would show "favoritism." Honestly, this is not my first time seeing BoA trying to pull these tricks on me and 3 strikes I leave!

This place bites. Don't go here. Waited well over an hour for service. Partner and I were both ignored by a white woman who 'only did mortgages' but had time to ask an older white patron if he has been helped. He knew that she outright ignored us and called her a name I cant repeat here. I went in to get a temporary debit card but settled on taking money out as I have a life and would like to get back to it. The person who was supposed to come back from lunch to help us arrived- and then disappeared. Zero stars. I hope they close soon. Hopefully Kevin and the lady with the green eyes will find better places of employment, they seem to be the only ones keeping this messed up boat afloat.

Horrible service. I went in there last Saturday. I'm looking for an auto loan for a used car. I was told the bank closes in 20 minutes, 1pm and was asked if I wanted to make an appointment for next week. Um you close in 20 minutes and I can't talk to anyone? I asked. The teller rolled her eyes and had me sit down. I sat for a few minutes, than I talked to a young lady. She wouldn't go over the important details but just general details. I'm driving on a ticket and don't have driver's license. However I have my Federal issued Veteran's card, several credit cards, metra pass, etc. Nope, I can't help you. Let's make an appointment for next week. Sure I said. I walk over to Chase where I bank and explain the situation to my personal banker. Chase is open to 3 pm on Saturday. We go to the Bank of America website and look up Auto loans, turns out, they don't give auto loans on a Lexus from 2003. They only go to 2005. So I basically wasted 30 minutes of my life on a Saturday for a loan I couldn't get anyway. Thank god I was able to get a loan from State Farm. I tell you, some people.

The branch manager's KEVIN is extremely rude.Came in the branch and he was sitting on top of the table.Called in to ask a question and he wanted to be difficult. This is the worst bank experience I've ever had.Who his boss? Are they reading this review. Someone really needs to train him on customer service or transfer him to another branch. Lakeview don't need this.

Treated badly after father deceased trying to legally disperse funds from his account. One blunder after another. This branch does not care or follow through with instructions from Estate Team. Branch did not upload one form from Estate Servicing pkg. Was instructed by Estate phone agent to have form filled out and re-submitted in branch so they could forward to Estate Service. Clark St. branch waited until after a 3-day holiday weekend to submit, delaying fund dispersal again. Guess what, they still didn't get it. Horrible experience, glad I don't have an account here. Avoid these clowns.
