Shelly Zhu is a great manager. During my first time visit to the branch on railroad, I received a warm welcome. She patiently answered my questions on how to reserve new safety boxes for my wife and myself. She even further introduced a reward earning credit card account to me.

I have been a BofA customer for over 30yrs, and this is the worst location I've experienced. There is no such thing as true customer service and they make you wait in long lines, and the offices are too warm. I've seen so many customers walk out angry or in disgust. I have too! I rarely go inside banks any more but have had the need a few times since I moved here. Maybe all banks are this way now and if so, that's pretty sad. I'll be looking at switching banks but will never visit this location again.

Bank appears to be temporary closed as it was closed both yesterday and today, but they have not bothered to update their website or app, or even post a notice on their doors. During the time I sat here and typed this review, I saw at least 7-8 people trying to enter the bank. Funny thing is they just confirmed their new hours on google 4 days ago. Why let the world know you’re open when you know you’re going to be closed.

I had an urgent wire transaction for earnest money deposit on a house that needed to do on a Friday afternoon. I tried to figure out on my web portal but couldn't do it and I was afraid I make a mistake, so I went to this BoA branch for the first time and without an appointment. Usually not a good combination, but to my pleasant surprise, the agent at the front realized the urgency of my situation and got a banker Shelly to help me. Shelly Zhu just got done with an appointment and before her next appointment showed up, she was able to get this done for me. She was very detailed and attentive in addressing my concerns. At the same time, she got me a better deal on an unlimited rewards credit card :) So, I'm really happy with her service and with this BoA branch.

Bank of America is going down the drain, not just this particular location, but all of them...When I added my spouse to my bank account, they did not give any info, did not issue her a debit card, they reduced their office hours, it is impossible to book an appointment or rent a safe deposit box...and they charge me every month a fee for service!! What do I need a bank for?

I have a locker in the first street branch which closed. Now to open my locker, I have to schedule an appointment at the railroad location. No one will pickup the phone even after calling many times. There is no easy way to take my stuff.

I take my elderly neighbor to Bank of America and she has to sit down and wait in a chair while I take her place in line. Eight out of the last 10 times I’ve been here with her, I’ve had to wait at least 15 minutes. There are only one or two tellers available, while another banker walks up and down the line asking if she can help with other banking needs that most other people in the line don’t seem to need. The hours haven’t adjusted much after the pandemic. It’s like BofA doesn’t really want that much business in Livermore.

If you have any need to deal with a retail branch, I recommend banking elsewhere. They don't answer the phone; if on an off chance they DO answer, you are immediately placed on hold and eventually disconnected (not a one-time thing - it routinely takes me an hour of "attack dialing" to get in touch with anyone). If you are at the branch, there is typically one teller and a very long line. For those wondering, and anticipating the bank's response (as they have to below reviews), certain transactions can't be completed online or at an ATM. Time is money, but although they are holding your money, they certainly don't value your time.

Ms.Shelly Zhu and Ms.Emily Duong both are the best employee of Bank of America.Ms.Shelly Zhu so helpful and has guided me to have a lot more knowledge in the financial/investment banking industry.
