After buying the vehicle I invested over $2,000.00 due to lies from them. I paid over double the price from fees, and with only 1 payment left and they stole my vehicle. They refused my last payment and sold the vehicle 2 days later. They then claimed the money from the sale didn't cover the $130.00 payment. I have received multiple bills for different amounts ranging from $1,000.00 - $3,000.00. Wouldn't waste my time with these people. As you can see the lies continue to grow. Nice try though. You never tried to work with us and then decided to call my wife derogatory names. I called 3 times in 1 day and was told I owe 3 different amounts. I also tried to pay the vehicle in full and was refused. You told me nothing I did would get my vehicle back. You people can't keep proper records.

    Response from the owner

Mr. Kuskowski, your statements are not true. At the time your vehicle was lawfully repossessed in October of 2012, you still had over ten payments left, you had no insurance, and your account was in excess of $1,000 past due. We called, wrote, and attempted to reach your references at least twenty times prior to ordering the vehicle repossessed, but you never had the courtesy of responding to us. Given that you moved to the UP without notifying us and you stopped making payments, we suspect you were intentionally trying to conceal the vehicle. While the vehicle was in repossession status, we quoted a discounted payoff of $2483.85. This was substantially less than you owed pursuant to your contract ($3,719.59) and it was made clear to you that if you did not make arrangements to pay that balance you could be subject to litigation for the full amount due. Unfortunately, you again chose to ignore your obligations even though we tried to cut you a break. The vehicle was ultimately sold at auction in order to mitigate our losses. That sale amount was deducted from your balance, leaving $1,219.59 owed to Auto World Financial. You still owe us this money, but rather than taking care of your obligations you chose to write a bad review. We would be happy to litigate this matter in court and allow a judge or jury decide what party is in the right.

It breaks my heart to see how many families this place has screwed over, including my own. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. 💔 They are ruthless and there are soo many better options out there! Keep looking and take every review into consideration, you'll save yourself a lot of pain. In response to auto world response: That is untrue, you have no idea how shocked, confused and scared I was to open my door and served court papers stating I'm being sued, especially during these trying times.

    Response from the owner

This person is upset because their family member did not hold up their end of the bargain to pay for their vehicle. We give all our customers every opportunity to make arrangements to get their accounts caught up. When customers are past due, we call, we email, and we write letters to make every effort to keep people in their vehicles. However, at some point the customer needs to make a payment or make some small effort to show they have an interest in getting their account caught up.

Went to purchase a car through them in 2014 December to be exact. By the time January came I was 2 days late and they repossess the car now 5 years later they are suing me for a car that they took back I didn't never get a chance to enjoy not even 200mi and I believe three grand is not worth a car that was considered a 1 month rental STAY AWAY PLEASE NOT WORTH IT THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR CREDIT I REPEAT STAY AWAY PLEASE! And when you leave a negative comment they try to make you look bad see u bozos in court look like y'all owe me. Also it says autoworld financial that's suing me lies lies lies lies lies lies.

    Response from the owner

This customer’s statements are not accurate about repossession. Unfortunately, he failed to meet his obligations under the terms of his loan. He has been given multiple opportunities to settle his debt since. However, he has chosen to ignore his financial obligations and now a court will decide what is appropriate.

I was approved for a loan but only for a newer vehicle which is not what I asked for. It was weird that they only would offer me a loan for one vehicle according to the dealership. 2013 Chevy impala was not worth the asking price at all. She explained everything to me but then after reading the contract I decided not to sign because there were so many hidden fees and I’ve heard so many negative stories about leasing through auto world! After reading reviews and seeing how they put your personal financial confidential information out there :( im glad I didn’t sign.

    Response from the owner

We are sorry we could not help you. We wish you the best. We try not to finance older vehicles because they tend to breakdown more often. We want our customers to have good quality vehicles.

Not the best place to go. Yes i made mistakes with my payments yes i am taking responsibility. But due to the fact that i am 19 with no experience with loans at all and a job to get to with no one to help with transportation it put me in a bad position. But at the same time i let them know i do not have enough to cover it per month at this time. Car was repoed yesterday at 9:51 Am after me telling them i can make my payment on july 6th of 2018 for 225 dollars and i had a late payment of 318 for june 30th payment which i specifically told them i can pay it by the 18th of July because of my finaces i wanted to get the car out of my hands and transfer to someone who wanted it actually within july cause i could not afford it. I even wanted to do a voluntary repossession but i would had to still pay 15 thousand for a car that is only 2 grand. Now my credit has dropped from 655 to 401 and its ruining my life now im getting fired and life is gonna be tough now with no car. I just hope maybe we can figure something out to get the car back to transfer to the person i was talking about. I do want to say thank you Auto world financial for helping me get my first car its just a few things we all can Fix. Maybe we can work something out where my credit will not be hurt like this and a way to earn my car back with no money. Im gonna keep my head up no matter what though things can only get better from here.😣😣😁😁😁

    Response from the owner

Mr. Harris, we are more than willing to discuss options to get you back into your car. We are sorry that we had to take our property back, but you were not meeting your financial obligations to us and the vehicle was uninsured very early on in your loan. Additionally, some of the promises you made to pay were not completely followed through in the past. These broken promises affected our decision on accepting future promises to pay. Furthermore, you have no right to "transfer" the vehicle to another person without our express written consent. We recognize not having a car to count on is a difficult situation, but you were not holding up your end of our bargain.

I bought a 2015 KIA SOUL from salesman Jose, and he sold me the car with horrific brakes. I had only driving the car for 3 months and the back brakes starting grinding. Went back in to see what they could do about it and was treated like a stranger. I had fabulous service for my first car I got from them, that's why I returned, but never again!

    Response from the owner

We are not sure how your finance company is responsible for fixing your brakes. We also have no Jose that works for us. Perhaps, you should speak with thd dealership where you purchased the vehicle.

Don't know where to start! I purchased a Cadillac Escalade from them from the start it had issues. One side of the heat worked while the other side blew out air when both should of blew out heat. Water leaked inside when you get a car wash. Windshield wipers come on unexpectedly and powerseat worked when it wanted to. Headlights came on and off. All of which should of been taken care of but everytime I tried to schedule an appointment I could never get it in. I purchased a winns warranty with extra coverage that the manager sweared by! When I told him of the problems that it was having again he said the owner said this could of happen while I was driving it!! Just spent over 2000 .00 for the electrical problems that it had and the company told me this was an issue for awhile and the dealership should of seen this. It had a panel piece that was off the dealership ordered the piece but I could never get it scheduled in for them to put it on!!! This is the second car I've purchased from them and I would never buy another one from them a day in my life nor Recommend them to anyone!!!! The manager had every excuse in the book but when it came to me buying it he was a different person lol!! I was a finance manager in the car business for over 10yrs and I've never sold a bad car to anyone and if I promised something I made sure to do it!! Your name is all you have but with this company I guess it doesn't matter!!!! By the way I only drove the truck on the weekends so how could it happen while I'm driving it lmbo!! My apologies it was Best Buy your affiliate.

    Response from the owner

Mr. Jett, we are sorry you had problems with your vehicle, but we are a finance company. We do not sell cars. We simply gave you a loan for a vehicle you wanted. Our records show you financed a 2007 Ford Five Hundred through us in April of 2010 and paid the vehicle off in December of 2013. We have no records of financing a Cadillac Escalade for you. Furthermore, our manager has been the same person since we opened in 2008. Frankly, we have no idea what you are talking about. Perhaps you should contact the dealership that sold you the vehicle to discuss your issues.

This place is awful. Unprofessional. Repossess your stuff and make up all types of stories of why. I was told because someone else was driving my car. The next time I went in it was I was I had a past due balance and my insurance was cancelled. My insurance expired 2 weeks after it was repossessed & I owed 2 payments that were due after the repossession. Don't waste your money or you're credit.

    Response from the owner

Unfortunately Ms. Anible violated multiple provisions of her contract and we made the decision to reclaim our property.

Extremely disatisfied with customer service and the way the office handles escalated issues. If i pay my damn car note on time every month and make sure full coverage is active i should not have to worry about niothing untill the next month. There systems are so outdated they bug the hell out of me for absolutely nothing. Telling me what my responsibility is. It shouldnt be that difficult to lease a damn car when im doing my part on time. I wouldnt even give them 1 star

    Response from the owner

This customer did not provide insurance coverage from 9/20/17 through 10/25/17 and was charged for forced placed insurance for that period. Ms Young claims she sent us the information showing coverage for that period, but she never did. After looking into this further, we discovered that Ms. Young sent the paperwork to the wrong email address over and over again. Once we discovered Ms. Young’s error we immediately reversed her charges.
