This business has the shadiest business practices. If you care at all about your credit, don’t do business with this company. Elizabeth Castro is my account manager at Auto Acceptance and she consistently calls me and speaks to me poorly each month in her tone, the way she conducts business and her extremely aggressive attitude. She calls me every month, yes every month, to collect my payment when I’ve asked her REPEATEDLY to put my loan on auto pay. I’ve asked in writing, over the phone and I’ve even asked another account manager to help me with my request. Yet yesterday I received a call from her again and I’m DONE with this company. I’m not going to pay each month to have these people negatively reporting in my credit FOR NO REASON. I honestly believe this account manager is just a miserable person because it’s unbelievable that something like this is happening. This is their customer service? No thanks, I’ll take my business elsewhere. I’d like to say it’s been a good 4 years but it’s been the most miserable account I’ve ever held. If I could give them a negative rating, that would be more fitting. I’m gonna go trade this car in and move on with my life.

If you want to be disrespected continuously, talked to as if you're a child, and degraded every phone call you make, this is definitely the place to do business with. Jenna is the most disrespectful, attitude filled person I've had to deal with. If you try to sell your car and get into a different one with a different lender, she will do everything in her power to try and void the deal and give you a repo. If you care about your credit, I highly suggest not doing business with these people. By far the shades practice e I have ever dealt with. They're not willing to change your due date, not willing to take partial payments, and not willing to communicate effectively with you either.

Honestly we haven’t really had much issue with Auto Acceptance. They worked with us when we had to pay late. I have dealt with a few less than enthusiastic people but who is cheery all the time? I’m not. It is what it is. I really don’t personally feel like they’re are bad as everyone is saying. We are two years in on our loan so things could change either way.

Honestly wish I could give this a zero star rating. Literally never do business with these people! Amber Shivvers is Rude and continuously lied to us over the phone and through email. Yes we were late on a payment because my husband had a job transfer so that is our fault but Amber set up a payment arrangement for us as she said she understands situations come up, (this so happened to be that my husband was transferring jobs and had to wait a 2 week period before getting his first paycheck). THE DAY we went to pay our bill which was the same day Amber set the arrangement for, all of a sudden our car was repossessed and there wasn’t a thing we could do . I called and emailed amber and never heard a word from her again. We got a letter in the mail A YEAR later, claiming we owe $8000 to them. Saying we either pay $200 a month or they will take us to small claims court and garnish us 25% out of each pay check. We tried to talk with Charmaine and she continued to be rude and say the same things over and over again! I then asked to be email a copy of the agreement we came upon and I wanted EVERY SINGLE RECEIPT I made towards the vehicle since we had already been screwed over by Amber and she says “sorry I can’t do that” Do yourself a favor and NEVER even consider this company. There is a reason they only have 2.3 stars out of 5.

The good news is, they will finance your auto loan from Ron Tonkin Auto when most banks won't. The bad news is, they are pretty much your last resort if you have sub-par credit and you really want to buy that car. So, be prepared to pay a HUGE interest rate. When I say huge, a customer service rep from there once told me that the majority of their customers pay over 20% APR for a used car. Yikes! Fortunately, because they were willing to loan me money for my car and I've been able to keep up with payments for almost 3 years now and I've been able to dramatically improve my credit score and was recently approved for a used car loan from another bank in the reasonable 5-10% range. Unfortunately, Auto Acceptance won't let you refinance your terms with them even if you've made payments on time regularly, but if you're able to find another bank loan to pay them off after a couple of years, you will definitely save some money. As for customer service, the only thing that irks me a little bit is the fact that they start calling you the morning after your due date to remind you that you are past due. Other than that, they are really nice people, just doing their jobs and if you are nice to them and you communicate with them if you have any issues, then they will treat you with respect. I've never dealt with anyone that was rude there and I stop by their office from time to time to pay my monthly bill. Remember, they specialize in loaning to sub-prime customers and they are taking huge financial risks by doing this, which means these type of companies are quicker to repossess your car than most banks. So, be careful and keep that in mind when borrowing from sub-prime auto lenders.

I have a loan with this company originating in January of 2018. I have had zero issues with this company and their interest rate is reasonable considering the length of the loan I requested. From reading some of the reviews I suspect several people had poor credit and then expected to have an interest rate of those with good credit. It doesn't work that way. They have answered all my questions and have never been rude to me. I have not seen any issues with my payments being reported to the Equifax.

I financed a car through Auto Acceptance in 2012. I paid $3000 more on the vehicle I financed because they said they had to 'buy it' from their other lot and couldn't give me the sale price that was in the ad! Unfortunately, due to financial issues the car was repoed in 2013. They threatened me with wage garnishment and such. Then they resold the car and I disputed my balance owed, with my credit reports. Auto Acceptance had to correct their information. An $8000 difference!! Now, years later, they do a hard inquiry on my credit report every 4-6 months. They stay on your credit for 2 years! Now I have to dispute all of them. NEVER do business with them!!!

Very bad company to get a car loan through! They pray on people with low credit to make them believe that in the long term it will improve their score. In reality they find ways to make it difficult to keep what you fiance and reposes it for their personal gain in the future. Scam company that should not be trusted.

If I could give a zero I would. They are the WORST. Do NOT by ANY means use this loan company. I am telling you to go ANYWHERE else. Try a different dealer like Carmax and go through American Credit.

Ron Tonkin's team was awesome. I was a first time car buyer, bad credit from decisions made at a younger age. I came in knowing what I wanted which of course was not going to happen with what I made at the time, what I was trading in and my credit score. During negotiations which ran late, past close and mind you I was no big fish, I was ready to walk out cause the price just wasn't right. The gentleman went to the GM who made the number more reasonable. Buying experience was long but all went well. While paying the loan, a couple instances came about where late payment was going to be made. I distinctly remember the loan agent being adament about making payments on time but calling ahead of time for a payment delay was never an issue for the couple of rare instances. Overall was a great experience.
