The WORST bank in town!! They will put holds on your debit cards and not tell you. They wont let you do online purchases AND you wont know your card was declined until you call the person you ordered from. And dont get me started on my Business account with them. NIGHTMARE!! They will hold all customer checks you try and deposit for 7-10 business DAYS! Do you know how much money this bank has cost us?! And then the branch manager will trash your business name on social media. Stay away from Austin Telco!!!!

I have literally never experienced a more incompetent financial institution in my life. They are never open. On a Friday the lobby closes at 4:00, as does the phone system, so the only way to talk to a human is to physically drive there to the drive through, where the staff at the drive through will tell you they can’t handle those matters, and you have to go inside. The inside that’s rarely open. This place is so behind the times technology wise, it’s definitely like going wayyyyy back in time. Their website and their app are extremely dated and glitchy. I will definitely be taking my money elsewhere. On top of every other issue I’ve encountered with this bank, it really doesn’t help my impression of them that they are so unfriendly. They treat their non millionaire customers like second class citizens, so rude. Stay away. There are several friendly credit unions around Bastrop County. This is not one of them.

I've never been treated so poorly by a bank in my life. When my employer direct deposits my paycheck with a release date, the funds are never available when they are supposed to be. They blame my employer for that, however, all 146 other employee's at my work receive their pay ON their payday. My final straw is them doing this to me on thanksgiving weekend, check should have posted on Wednesday and they tell me they can't release it til the first, despite being a customer for two year's and having the same bi-weekly deposits for a healthy amount this entire time. I called their customer service line...what a joke, they basically told me to get lost and that I was welcomed to come in and close my account! If you are looking for customer service, this is not the place to bank. They are rude, condescending, and if you're not super wealthy they have zero interest in speaking with you. I am boiling. Closing my account tomorrow for a bank that doesn't use ancient computers and practices.

I love this bank! They go above and beyond what my family needs. Every time I call with a question or issue of any sort it gets resolved in a very timely manner. I also have been saved from fraud multiple times and they work very well in fixing these problems and catching them. This will be my forever bank I'm sure of it!

I called on a Saturday, granted close to closing time at 1:00, simply wanting to know the balance of my loan. When I finally got to a real person the first thing she asked was if I could hold and then proceeded to tell me "it might be a little while." When I tried to ask what a little while meant she automatically put me on hold. Sitting on hold 4 minutes after 1:00 as I type this. Did she put me on hold knowing she wouldn't get to me because it would be past closing time by the time she could? Is that what she meant by "a little while"? Why even bother answering if you think it's going to put you after closing time???
