Nancy was extremely rude and unprofessional. Very dry customer service and not helpful at all. My poor mom lost her wallet with her ID, debit card, and medical cards. She goes to Nancy asking if she could get a physical card right there because she has a picture of her ID and told her the situation. Nancy did not care to engage with the conversation politely and just rudely told my mom that it doesn’t matter, she can’t get a new card today. My mom got worried and asked if she could at least take out money until her new card arrives, Nancy denied her of taking out her own money. When she had her ID member # and picture of ID. It almost seemed like Nancy did not want to help her. So she quickly denied her of any solution. You would think, in a small town, the people would be nicer. Im hoping my mom switches over to chase because at least they care about their customers situations and try to be understanding human beings.

I have been on hold for 30 minutes. There was an unauthorized charge on my card. A+ texted me to confirm and i said it was not me. They locked my card and i’ve been trying to get ahold of someone for the past 3 days. I’m 18 years old, and I work 7 days a week 12 hours a day for a construction company. I do not have the time to deal with this. I have no access to my money and i work an hour away from my house. i just need gas. I am currently on hold while writing this. I Just need a new card. How hard can that be?! update: it took 45 minutes for me to get ahold of someone just for them to tell me that i could just stop buy to get a card. are you kidding me?? why couldn’t someone just tell me that in the first place? thank you to the wonderful girl who helped me. i don’t know your name but thank you

I am so beyond frustrated with this banking system. No one answers the phone. I have moved 4 hours away. Can not reach anyone and my account is locked. I have never disliked a bank more than I dislike A+. Would not recommend. Is this the ONLY way to get any response???? This is my first bad review online but it sure has been earned.

Paid my car loan over 4 years in advance. The loan included gap insurance which I never received a refund for. Watch out with these guys. I won't be accepting any more proposals from them, I'll be switching to another credit union and one that is local.

I recently opened up a bank account with A+ Federal Credit Union in Bastrop. Within one week I noticed questionable activity on my account. I told customer service and their fraud protection to freeze the account until I could get there on the next business day and then we would open a new account and close the old one; they agreed. When I got there they had already closed the account blamed me for the activity and accuse me of being a female using my own personal information to open a line of credit LOL. I reminded them I had made zero transactions, not used the ATM card etc and pointed out that their employees at the bank are 99% female and they should start there. They treated me very poorly and tried to keep my money I don't recommend this branch. Ty but I tried to talk to the management staff while I was there and even requested them. They refused to speak with me and kept sending some young man to help me and kept putting him on the spot. To that young man good job I know you were feeling a lot of pressure being put on the spot like that.

This institution does not practice good communication with it's customers or even between its departments. Be very sure to obtain the name of anyone you speak to about any problem over the phone. They will refuse to acknowledge the outcomes of previous phone calls. Notes that were supposed to be made to accounts were never made, false/incomplete information was furnished, misleading wording used on correspondence. For peace of mind, go somewhere else for your banking needs.

I was looking to get an account open for direct deposit requested from an employer, started out at Austin Telco. But after waiting for 20 minutes for them to even acknowledge I was there I decided to leave.I remember someone mentioning that A+ was a good banking institution, so I went. I didn't even wait 5 minutes before I was in the office opening my account, and Sami White was so helpful and super friendly. She also let me know about a referral program they had going on,so i went back within the hour was helped once again within 5 minutes this time by Karen who went out of our way to help us receive our money for my referral. I definitely reccomend these guys!!!

acct has been open over 1 1/2 years. there was a $15 balance and when I tried to close acct was told this would be kept as acct closure fee. A+ is committing theft. check all social media sites for this review. For $15 I will cause you so much bad publicity, your advertising budget will be outrageous. I am painting this on the back window of my pickup to drive all over Central Texas. Go ahead, this puts A+ in same league as crooked Wells Fargo, Citibanks and most financial institutions of modern day user fees, despite interest made off of money deposited.

A+ is a scam, Plain and Simple. Charges members BS fees. I am in the banking field, and they are charging members for no reason besides putting money in their pockets. There is a reason that they offer low interest rates, the bend you over with the added fees just to pay your bill.

I don't understand the A+ Federal credit Union sometimes. I always have money in the bank but when I go to try to buy something that cost more than a $1,000 it declines my card. If I have the money in the bank then it shouldn't declined me. I'm really going to which bank if they can get there stuff together.
