I've had an account with AZ central CU for well over 15 years. The first major upset, and inconvenience was when they shut down the only centrally located branch on Alvernon. The shared branching had been their saving grace. And now we get a letter saying that there will no longer be shared branching! What a joke. Now I have no choice but to close this account and update all my payment accounts, just because shared branching is too much to maintain? Definitely look else where for your credit union needs.

When a person qualifies for a small secured loan and the truck is worth 3 times more then the loan, as well has full coverage insurance for ten (10) straight years, it is ILLEGAL to add their own insurance! The bank has the title as well as the insurance policy proof. Then proceeds to add the extra insurance onto the loan. Takes it out of my account, without my permission ( which is theft) then adds it to the loan amount. Arizona Central has permission to take ONLY the payment on a monthly bases ONLY! I even bought the EXTRA SILVER PLAN to make them happy. I DEMAND THAT THIS LOAN BE REDONE, AND DROP THE SILVER PLAN WITH THAT NEW LOAN! The Management leaves MUCH to be desired!

I have never in my life Dealt with a more difficult Bank Or Credit Union That Puts you through So many obstacles Just to make a payment. My name Is nit on the account I'm a significant other I don't want any information I just want to give you my money And they will not take it because I'm not the name on the account. Ridiculous!!! I cannot Wait to refinance Just so I don't have to deal with them any longer!!! I would give them a zero if I could. This goes for both the bank and over the phone customer service.

I am a long term customer here in Tucson. 2-3 years ago the centrally located branch was closed with literally 30 days notice to employees and customers. Since then customers, including elderly patrons, have to either find transportation to do banking at the lone branch office, which is 14 miles away or do shared banking. Absolutely, no plans to replace this centrally located branch. During the pandemic, customer services has been absolutely abysmal. I have been a member since 1978 and the customer service has consistently declined. Presently, I am searching for a new banking partner after more than 40 years loyalty to AZ Central. Sad, sad, sad

The worst possible service in banking you can find. Esther Perez from the Phoenix branch was the worst and inconsiderate representative. Not only did she and AZ Central refuse to work with us about our payment struggles during the pandemic, she repossessed our vehicle for $7.00 owed on a past month. We were able to pay off the vehicle to be able to keep it. The tow company had quoted us the daily rate. But this credit Union got a piece of the pie and charged double what the tow company had quoted. Then, Esther sat on the lien release for a month and would not notify MVD so that we could get our cleared title and new registration. There are plenty of other credit unions in Arizona with much better service to their members. Stay far away from this one.

I had an unsatisfactory experience attempting to open an account with Arizona Central Credit Union. After spending 20 minutes on the telephone going over step by step procedures I complied with them. Then this morning, an inexperienced customer service rep at the Ina Road location was unfamiliar with the procedures that her home office in Phoenix had described. After placing me on hold for 11 minutes she advised me of a new requirement, ostensibly from her branch manager, of a change in procedure. When I asked to speak to I was placed on hold for an additional 6 minutes, inexplicably, I was disconnected. This is by far the poorest customer service experience I have had with the banking community, including credit unions.

I have been with this credit union for 22 years and used to love them, but the customer service has gone down the drain and I have been nothing but frustrated for the last couple of years. I am in the process of transitioning to another credit union and closing my accounts.

I just went in there and was practically accosted by the bank managerbecause I was not wearing a mask. I have COPD and I have a medical exemption these monsters just like to Lord it over people they do the bidding of their corporation and they do not care. I am convinced that if their corporation I am convinced that if their corporation gave then the order to shoot you if you came in there without a mask I am pretty sure that they would! It is very sad to see young people be under the control of these to this extent. Really everybody we all need to go into Bitcoin and get rid of these jerks.they have no right to treat people like that there is no mandate no law that says we are supposed to wear masks for a fake pandemic

We have had a business account setup with AZ Central for about 4 years now – all things considered I like them much better than dealing with Wells Fargo who we ditched when we moved here. Folks are friendly when we go in and getting our account setup and tying in a credit card for business use and such was all pretty painless. We use BECU in Seattle for our personal account and AZ Central does come up a bit short on full service in comparison – for instance you cannot do online check deposits using their secure web site, you have to use their mobile phone app only which is annoying. Doing things like sending wire transfers (i.e. for a property purchase) takes far longer than it would at a higher end bank – give yourself plenty of time. That said, we’re still happy with the experience on the whole.

I am buying a house and needed a cashiers check for closing funds the next day and they refused to give me a cashiers check from my sister credit union due to covid. I was already in the lobby standing right in front of them. I was thinking of transfering my accounts to that location due to convenience but will definitely not be doing that now.
