Rich did an outstanding job processing my son's VA loan. His team took care of everything and my son closed on his home a week ahead of schedule. The absolute worst experience refinancing. I have refinanced different homes at least 5 times in my lifetime and recently wanted to take advantage of the low interest rates. When I went through this company they were good at first, then slowed down on the communication. I sent all of my info in very quickly and communicated on my end well through the whole process. After a few weeks I called to see what was taking so long and they said they had a glitch in the paperwork and were resubmitting. This disturbed me because I thought I was locked in on the low rate. They said they would still be able to do it and told me to make my regular home payment. I then went another couple weeks waiting to hear from them. NOONE would answer my calls or emails and I can show that as proof. Finally in my frustration I looked up other people within the company and went down the line calling everyone. I did finally get a call back and all they could tell me was they messed up and the loan was no longer available. No repercussions on their end, no apologies, and absolutely zero communication afterwards outside of the ads they send me regularly. I was completely dumbfounded by the unprofessional way they did things and the way I was treated afterwards. BEWARE OF AMERICAN FINANCIAL NETWORK! P.S. I am required to give a star here in order to post. I wouldn't give them a single thing if I could help it.

AFN was very responsive and helpful with my recent refi! Charles Montgomery stayed on top of things and responded to my every request and need. The whole process was effortless and I'm extremely pleased.
