Jessica is awesome to work with. Made my first home buying experience great! Learned a lot while going though the process which has helped me with other dealings.

After we closed on our home loan, the loan was sold in the first month, which was expected. But, I after made the first payment to the new company, Academy Mortgage sent me a letter stating I had missed my first payment on my loan and I now had been charged a late fee. I called and stated the issue, and they said it was most likely a mistake on their end. After 2 days, they called back and confirmed it was their mistake, and not to worry about it. I said fine, but asked they make sure they didn't report me to the credit bureau. They said that could not be done so soon. Sure enough, a few weeks later, I got a message from my credit monitoring service saying I had been reported for a late payment on my mortgage by Academy mortgage. I called Academy, and they said they can get it reversed. It took some time, but eventually it was fixed. Although i'm not sure yet if it has affected my credit yet. I have tried to call management to to get some form of reimbursement for my trouble with this issue and still have had not got so much as call regarding this issue, which I find to be gross negligence on their part. This issue caused me a great deal of stress as a 1st time home buyer, and lost work time dealing with the credit bureaus. They really don't seem to care about what they have done.
