Working with Noel at Academy Bank is how I would imagine small-town banking from a century ago. I am greeted by name when I walk in. I get periodic phone calls from a banker I know asking how my projects are going. It is the opposite experience of the cog-in-a-wheel, machine-communication banking that is prevalent in our society. I don't know who the branch manager is but, I do know that they all came to my rescue off East Colfax when my car broke down. They gave me water and let me hang out in the bank until my friend showed up and helped me tow my car. I was just in the bank yesterday and met one of the sweetest tellers on earth at this branch. They are always friendly here. Her name was Kymberli Mckinsey. She was very helpful as well. She explained to me my options for bank loans and a whole lot of other things, that I didn't know about my bank. I've been banking with Academy for 3 years now. Thanks Kim And Noel. I believe that was his name!!! Anyways, they are good people at this little branch.. customer Service is Excellent.
