Academy Bank S 8th St, Colorado Springs

Needed to exchange 5 $20 bills for $100 for a birthday gift and was told they couldn't do so because I didn't have an account with them. Well, I can tell you that due to that policy alone I wouldn't have account with such an idiotic bank! Makes no sense whatsoever!

Elora and Desiree are always so helpful and kind to help me with my banking needs. They are very professional and personable. I would recommend these ladies for all your banking needs. Thank you so much for everything ❤.

It is useful be a great bank BUT now you never know when its open on 8th street or Fountain. Now they are Closed on Saturday...i mean really..

Went in today to open up a new checking account and was helped by Daniel Alvarez-Lemp. So super helpful and the process was a lot quicker than I thought AND I got my permanent debit card right in the spot! Was not expecting that! Any question I had was answered and the customer service was absolutely impeccable! They did not try to up sell or push anything on me that I had already said no to once. Would highly recommend

Lindy Dahl is the manager of the branch on 8th St. here in Colorado Springs. She and Tina helped me accomplish re-securing a loan. Its hard to describe what a tremendous help they were in the process. I think Lindy's knowledge of all things loans is incredible! There was a small challenge and they took care of it like the true professionals they are. But there's more. I think its very rare to find people in management who are also personable and caring. Lindy Dahl makes you feel like you're the only person in the room. I just wanted to say thank you for having such well trained, wonderful professionals running this branch.

This is the worst bank I have ever used, you can't cash a check and use it same day. You need 10 transactions a month or you are charged $8 on your debit card. It's not even a real debit card it's a gift card. They have hardly helped me and I have always had issues. God this is the worst bank imaginable. Criminal never bank here ever.

Horrible customer service They let someone who stole my identity open a checking account and under her dob was Knoxville Tn and her occupation was an astronaut!!! Then they had charged off my account and made me open a restored account and it cost me 12$ a month for a service fee I had not been informed about and why wpuld I agree to pay them to keep an account open for me when i originally had a free checking account. Until their banker opened a fraudulent account. There service sucks and so does their customer service. DO NOT BANK HERE

The new manager was unprofessional and incorrect. She gave me miss information. Misquoted prices n dismissed me like I didnt matter. Called company n they said I was a premium customer. Reversed her charges corrected her pricing. Said I was misinformed by her. I will go to another branch in the future. Ive run multipal loans and business thru Acadamy banks. Will never go thru her again They found her to be...lets just say Incompetent.

Steatra Murphy is absolutly the worst! I came in for a notary.... I have never been charged a fee before.... makes me pay $15.00 cash... I tell her I bank with Academy Bank she starts telling me how hard her job is and all this jazz. Meanwhile she's bitching about all her employees because they didn't show up on time and blah blah blah!! Don't bank here!!
