Terrible debit card quality, I've had several all have been problematic within weeks of issue and they expect you to pay for the replacement. Customer service is worse yet, apparently no one knows who is in charge or how to dispute a charge.

Every bank I've been banking with calls me if there potential fraud. Them? They just lock my card even though it was me using the card. Didn't find out until I go to use the card and it keeps getting declined by the bank. Yet.. I just got paid. So instead of calling me and asking about said fraud, they lock my card and make mo efforts to contact the card they locked out. No contact to tell me they locked me out of my money. Nothing. But charge me for not using the card, chsrge you for not having enough money in savings, charge you for everything under the sun. But can't call you to discuss alleged fraud on card. When it comes to savings Cents? It'll move money into savings Cents and put me in the negative. Then turn around and charge me a fee for being negative. Wouldn't be negative if your savings Cents didn't make me negative.

Lord this is the worst bank, hold time is horrible, went to the bank and waited in a line cause there was one two tellers, the other guy must have been new cause the manager was on the phone with customers, they don't greet u when u next the one guy just stands there and looks at the other teller. I've been one the phone holding for three hours and more they come back on and tell me they're waiting on a supervisor. I honestly don't know how they're in business I also bank with Central Bank and there customer service is ridiculously fast!!!!

Every time you come to this branch it’s always something. Today I came no one was around to help me. I waited 7mins before calling the store for Victoria to pick up and say they are in the back room. Waited another 5+ mins before her and another employee comes out the back room and doesn’t even acknowledge that I’ve been waiting here for over 10mins now. I eventually ended up leaving with no help while they stood behind the registers doing whatever it is that they were doing. No communication of any kind while I stood there staring at them. They acted as if I wasn’t there. They are either entirely too slow ( the workers ) or just don’t care to do their jobs. Corporate should really look into this location ( Lees Summit, MO ) specifically because the service is always terrible.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had. Nothing but problems from their end since I opened it to even AFTER I closed my accounts. Clerical issues as simple as turning in the correct paperwork to not closing accounts when requested. They reported negatively to the credit bureaus and then had to delete due to their mistakes. Deleted my online accounts to access online for the credit card I had and checking account. Had to go into have them call and create new, still didn’t work. Finally, closed 3 accounts I had. At least I thought. Come to find out they were over charging me on interest the ENTIRE time so they owed me money. Then tried to charge me fees on an account that should’ve been closed months ago when I went into the branch to close it. They only closed 2. Now I’ve been on the phone for 1.5 hours and counting just to close the other account and for them to send me a check for the money they owe. Ridiculous for an establishment to have this many errors. System from top to bottom is terrible. No organization and customer service? Subpar is an understatement. Would never ever recommend to any human of any kind on this earth. Update: on phone with supervisor now and he’s put me on hold to close all the accounts that should’ve been close 3 months ago? What a joke!

Worst experience ever. Every time I go I have to wait a while even when one of the Tellers is busy. The guy Tyler is rude and unprofessional I laughed when I just read the review about him getting a raise when I believe he should not. I went up one day to get a money order I asked for 1,137 he thought I meant 11.37 when I seen the money order I went back and told home there must of been a communication problem and I laughed but he gave me an rude look and argued about it then gave me the correct amount and still gave me a dirty look. Every time I go up there and the other tellers are busy with other customers he purposely tries to act busy and like always gives me a dirty look. I am sorry but someone needs to have a talk with the guy and let him know that what he is doing is not professional. I have been banking with Academy for 3 years and have never experienced this every person I dealt with has been great and amazing. But Tyler Idk you have a customer service job man put your personal feeling to the side. It is about the customers and the job. I am in customer service myself I deal with rude people picky people and stressful people everyday and I deal with it with a smile.

Worst bank I've ever been to.... Horrible customer service and have to speak to manager several times about atm issues and she tried to claim every time she doesn't have access.. but yet Everytime we call the supervisors to get our money back we are told she should have a key to that and could've given my money back to me that same minute. She has no reason to be there if your going to lie to your customers.
