Often times we wait to long as small business owners to retain a CPA. This is always a costly mistake, one that I made as well when I first opened my businesses. I had a tax issue that they helped me to resolve. I love working with Abacus CPA, Irene Borum, has been a fantastic value add to my business and group members. She has been very responsive and I trust that my business is being handled quickly and efficiently. I recommend Abacus to every business owner that I know.

I was a little skeptical about this business since there were not that many good reviews. However, the reality is totally different. They are really great at getting back to customers through all mediums (I reached out through linkedin) and they responded almost immediately. The consultation process and Document collection was also pretty straight forward and fast. I feel very comfortable working with them and will definitely keep doing it in the future!

We have been working with Abacus CPA for the last few years and they have been great! Being a technology startup, it's not easy finding a group that understand the needs and requirements of the technology space. Met with Irene on a 30 minutes conversation and that was all I needed to know that my business was secured with them! They are my go to CPA now and I think that will be hard to change. They are fully virtual so you can meet with them literally anywhere in the world.

Had a 30min consult with Irene (the owner) for the first time in Feb. We spoke about filing my taxes primarily. By March 17th, they had all they needed to review my paperwork. A few weeks later another conversation was had with Irene where additional paperwork was needed. She confirmed she had it all on April 15th. I was advised my quote and deposit invoice will be sent that day. Multiple follows up had to be done on my part and each time there was an excuse. Last follow up was on July 14th and still I have yet to receive a quote. I gave this company numerous chances as I understand things happen. I really wanted to support a black owned business. The unprofessionalism with this company has forced me to take my business elsewhere.

Great people to do Business with! Very attentive, knowledgeable and attentive! They will definitely by my CPA from now on!
