The bank as whole has by far the best customer service. Shoutout to Yesenia over Worcester Credit Union. In one word AMAZING! From start to finish she was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient! It’s representatives like her that worcester credit union is the best of the best.

I honestly DON'T see why WCU received such bad reviews! Over the past year and a half I have refinanced my house, opened an equity line and purchased a new car with WCU effortlessly. Yes, they had to close their lobby due to Covid19, however, they helped me through scheduled appointments, telephone calls and DocuSign. I love that I can manage my checking account, mortgage, equity line and pay all my bills through the online banking and their mobile app if I'm on the go! Lastly, now that the lobby is opened, I specifically went in to see the renovations that were done and it looks lovely. It's modern, bright, clean & inviting.

Have driven by countless times over the last couple years since moving the Burncoat area. The sign always has rates and ads but not until I just got my new/ used car did I realize how GREAT their auto loan was compared to the dealership. I called and left a message to talk to someone about how to refinance a new/ used car. I got a call back that same afternoon from Trinny. She apologized for the wait getting back to me which I didn't think was an issue since my 'regular' bank would never call me back, I'd either have to go online and wait for an email back or call and wait on hold so leaving a message and actually getting a call back was above and beyond Then, the experience continued to get even better. After a few minutes explaining my situation, she assured me the process would be 'easy' for me and she would walk me through it all. I applied over the phone with her right then and she told me how to send the copy of my registration, license and income info securely to get the loan processed quickly. From phone call to closing/ payoff took less than 2 days and would have been quicker if I had already had a membership account opened, but since I didn't I had to sign the loan documents in person with my ID which seems normal to me. When my husband and I went into the branch to open my account and sign to refinance, Trinny had everything ready. She also explained to us their new checking account that pays rewards for using our debit cards, which we do all the time. While I was doing the loan paperwork, my husband was checking out their website and app, he said it was super easy to navigate and very up to date, which was surprising to me for whatever reason. We both am moving our accounts and direct deposit now. I know I am looking forward to a new banking relationship with a place that really seems to welcome and appreciate their customers which I have never really felt at my 'old' bank. I may not go to a branch very often but I believe this little place is a gem and get's what personal service still is and made me feel that way from that first returned phone call!

Great bank! WCU helped me refi my home when no other bank or credit union would. Everyone involved with my loan process was attentive, responsive, and made the refi process as stress-free as possible. Highly recommend this bank!

Wanted to support a local credit union. The day I opened my account I asked if I would get my debit card that day. I was told yes. After they deposited my $$, I was told by the same person that their card machine was down. They’d call me tomorrow so I could pick the debit card up. It’s been over 2 weeks - I’ve made three calls in (left vms) and sent emails. No card. No returned calls. One email saying the card isn’t ready! VERY FRUSTRATING. Only way to access my cash is waiting in a long drive thru lane. . . I highly recommend you do not use this credit union. There is no customer service.

Just try calling them and leave multiple messages and see if they pick up. They won’t call back. Awful service. Since they fired all there old employees place has gone done a lot

Customer service and pace leaves a lot to be desired. Took forever to complete a very simple check deposit. While I waited, nothing was said to me - very little to no acknowledgement. No update, nothing. My time was not respected. The Drive thru is just as bad. Communication is very poor. I've worked as a teller before - customer service etiquette is very poor.

Worcester credit union by far is one of the only financial institutions that actually hold true to their standards of individualized considerations . They exceed expectations that everyone's situation is not created equal . I have nothing but great things to say about WCU ,no matter your financial situation they will attempt to work with you . I have obtained several loans from this institution and my credit was not the best they are what a second chance looks like if you are up front and honest . Everyone deserves respect and if you do not obtain the answer you were looking for they are more than willing to find out what you can do to help them help you . I have nothing but praise for this institution and its branch manager Debbie ,please save yourself the headache and give this institution a try when everyone else says no ask WCU what can they do to help you I am sure they will!

This bank reported inaccurate late payments to my account and lied about removing them. Very dishonest place to bank. It is sad that a bank would be so grimy in their dealing. I think they are undercover prejudice. I would not recommend them.
