    Was with them for years. They used to be very polite now it seems they blame the customer don't care to listen they will just cut you off mi sentence. Glad I closed and went to the another bank. The old tellers were way better.

    Horrible customer service here. I went in to do a wire transfer, I requested to do a wire transfer. The teller asked me if I was trying to send money to someone through western union. I was confused. Um, no I want to do a wire transfer, that is what I asked her to do. Do you know there is a $35 fee? Yes, can you please do the transfer? I have done thousands of dollars in transfers with my other bank and had no issues. Today I get one voicemail stating she didn't have a number to do the transfer. I was given a number, left 3 voicemails. Nobody calls back. I call customer service and held the line for 10 min to be told I have to go to the branch and drive 30 min away. Now I'm going to be assessed fees for the transfer not going through on time. Don't trust this bank with business transactions, they WILL let you down. I also had a dispute for $800 that was held over 60 days when they aren't suppose to hold it longer than 60 days, the credit was given within 2 weeks and the bank held it over 2 months. The tellers look you up and down like you are trash and squint at you when you ask to do a wire transfer. I hate this bank, hate it! I will be closing my account as soon as my transactions go through and I find a better option. I am in a rural area so the options are limited. The only staff that ever treated me right was in Conroe on 242 college station. This location is the worst.

    want to brag for a min I have the BEST banker in texas!!! I had a MAJOR issue that happened with my bank accounts yesterday and from the second i walked in to woodforest bank in cleveland tx this man was not just understanding and sympathy he was professional and more helpful than anyone ive done bussiness with in a real long time! I must add i wouldnt have delt with me at that time because i was not the nicest person at the time!! And from the get go he started doing every thing he could to secure my accounts and was able to save two of them but there was nothing we could do about the other one and i had to close one and reopen it. This morning he went the extra mile to call me because i had a check hit the bank to the closed account which i knew it was due any day but forgot to mention well he not only caught it he contacted me to let me know and what we needed to do!! This man needs a raise he is aweome and he takes customer service to a whole diff level and when i just thought that customer service was out the door Thank you so much Juventino Ramirez for all your help i do appreciate every thing you did for me

    Assistant Manager ANDREW PEREZ & LUIS HERNANDEZ are literally my angels!!!! I opened up a new account less than a week ago at a different Woodforest location located in Houston Texas. I am a Louisiana hurricane Laura evacuee and was required to provide an address verification, but upon opening the account I was told I had 15 days to do so. He has been five days of the 15 from the time I deposited a very large lump sum of money into my account and when going to the gas station to pump gas in my vehicle while traveling alone in the middle of nowhere, I could not pay for $30.00 in gas and a $3.19 cent energy drink! My card was disabled by the location that I opened the account at without any notice in 5 days and I was told that I had 15 days to provide that verification upon opening the account. As a Louisiana resident, new to the state of Texas, you cannot get a Texas drivers license without bills in your name I had been living with family since the hurricane took my home and everything that I own from me. The deposit I made opening this account was the check I had been waiting on for 4 months to replace all that I had lost And they almost close the account entirely while the check was in the middle of 7 day holding period of half of the funds to be cleared by the issuing agency. Needless to say I was in a huge bind! I had NO CASH ON ME, NO ONE THAT COULD COME AND HELP ME, and NO WAY TO GET GAS IN MY TRUCK and all of the funds in my account were there, but I had no access to any of it. I got on my cell phone and I googled “WOODFOREST NEAR ME after calling and calling and calling the bank I opened the account at without any answer from them or the toll free number. It was like God definitely had to be in the mist because I was 1.5 miles away from the WoodForest National Bank located at 831 Highway 59 S. in Cleveland Texas. When it was finally my turn to talk to the banker, which was Mr. Hernandez, I was frantic, frustrated, and scared because I did not know what I was going to do. As upset as I was, he remained calm and assured me he would do everything he could to help me and that everything will be OK. After obtaining all of my information and gathering and understanding of my situation, he went to his branch manager Mr. Andrew Perez who went above and beyond any expectation I could ever fathom. It was almost as like I was there a family member in this crisis with the type of compassion, concern, and willingness to help. Options for address verification that was never asked of me from the bank I open the account at in Houston Texas was requested of me by Mr. Perez and although it wasn’t something that is normally on the formulary as an acceptable form he took what I had from my employer with my address on it and send it to their “back office” for approval to just see if that document would suffice and lo and behold it was approved!! Not only did they take care of my requirement to have my sick uncle get out of the house to do a notary letter for me to verify my address, they were able to help me with a withdrawal from my account to put gas in my car, re-order me a new debit card that I was given on the spot, and throughout the entire experience got my mind off of the anxiety and called my frustration by initiating pleasant conversation about pleasant and joyful experiences in the state that I’m from which is Louisiana. When I left out of this branch, all of my needs were met emotionally, physically, I am financially and it was placed on my heart to stop and take a moment to acknowledge these two gentlemen because I can only account on one hand in my 33 years of life meeting not just customer service representatives, but people like these two!! Again, I just want to say thank you gentlemen, God bless you and yours all the days of your lives, and I am forever grateful!!

    I had been banking here for years. One day while making a withdrawal i handed them my license to carry ID card and they said that it wasn't a proper ID. I said it is a government issued ID card but maybe you're right so here's my DL. After that the teller proceeds to grill me on why she thinks i shouldn't have to carry a gun. I tell her it's my right and i carry in order to protect my family, but she doesn't like that too much. Needless to say I'm now banking elsewhere.

    Worst experience ever. Went up to the counter to get a money order. The clerk asked for my boyfriend's ID. Sat there looking at her computer and asked for it again and to take it out of the wallet sleve. Sat there for another 3 or 4 minutes while she typed stuff in. We asked if there was a problem and got no response. We then handed her a debit card to pay for the money order and she again asked to see his ID. Then proceeded to tell us we would have to take money out of their ATM in order to get a money order. Never have I ever been told we have to use cash for a money order. We just told her nevermind we'll go somewhere else. She rolled her eyes and said whatever. I don't think that's how employees are suppose to act towards customers. Very dissatisfied with her.

    I do Love my Woodforest Bank. They ARE CHEAPER FEES. They DO HAVE LINES BUT ALWAYS DO THEIR BEST TO GET YOU IN AND OUT.
