Was just on hold for 15 minutes suffering through "easy listening" music periodically interrupted by prerecorded messages about all the wonderful things Wings can do for me, and then the line rang a bit and I was hung up on immediately. Maybe Wings should add "answering phone calls" to the list of wonderful things they can do for customers. Edit: I called a second time (same day), and got a representative after a few minutes. I asked her a question, and she said she would transfer me to the correct department. I waited another 15 minutes on hold, and then gave up. Will be closing my account.
Hello Will, I'm sorry to learn about this experience trying to call in. Hopefully the disconnect was just a glitch - we don't want to ignore members. We're always trying to expand the ways you can reach us, such as the Live Chat option on our website/app that lets you speak with a representative (just to Live Agent if you need a human) typically without hold times. My wife received a phone call from Wings Omg , there was transactions happening in Oklahoma the operator asked if that was us, said no. My previous interactions haven’t been exactly mesmerizing or charming, can hardly call it friendly. Yet not bad enough to be called terrible or make a fuss about. Today I needed a cashiers check for a large amount. I wasn’t greeted by the two girls sitting at the entrance. Ok, so why are you sitting there? Next the teller is cold, rude, and short. She screws up my memo not once but twice. Thankfully I checked the check both times. The third check she says with an attitude, ok fine the next check I’ll just leave blank and you can fill out the memo yourself. Now I bite my tongue but I wish I hadn’t of. Not my fault you were careless twice. And you’re acting like I’m inconveniencing you, but this is your job?! I should have made her fill out the memo correctly. I changed banks to have something local since I’ve moved to MN. There’s no reason why I need to give you my business and keep my money at your business. Poor customer service all around.

Marie Malkush should not be a manager! She only cares about her paycheck! Someone from wings financial took my check for my car loan and used it for something else. I went in and talked with her and she claims I was "late" at my payments. And just kept blaming me for late payments, when I know i can't be late because I signed up for auto-pay. Long story short, Wings financial found they used my check for another loan. Marie was unapologetic and this made me have bad credit! Do NOT go to her for help.

Highly disappointed in this branch. I had went to go insert cash deposit through their atm and their atm jammed and didn’t give my cash back or credited it to me. So I had went inside the branch and notified them. They said they will open the atm and resolve it for me and will give me a call back. I didn’t receive a call yesterday so I decided to call them and ask the status of the situation the supervisor Jill I believe that was her name rudely responded to me “the $245 was credited to your account did you not check your account?” I responded defensively no due to the fact I was waiting for a phone call back. I work in customer service, and the way how you speak to your customers plays a big key in your career. The workers there were very positive and sweet to me and I would think the supervisor would even have a better customer service sadly that was not the case. I’ve only been a member for less than a month and I’m thinking of canceling my membership with them now.

Unfortunately, just another shady bank. I cosigned on a loan for my sister, and when she moved to a new address Wings charged BOTH of our accounts $5 a month for an "invalid address fee". No phone call, no email, no app notification, not even a letter to the valid address on my account informing us of a potential problem... just started charging fees. This could have gone on for months without either of us knowing because Wings is not our primary bank, and now it never will be.

I tried to make a wire/bank transfer and they wanted to know what I was buying and a receipt or invoice. I asked if that's a law and he stated it's a policy. I told him it's non of anyone's business what I purchase. Long story short, they want to violate people's freedoms and that is not ok. Going to be talking with the attorney General.

That said, our tellers are trained to inquire under certain circumstances during a wire transfer to help protect our own members from scams/fraud. In many cases the victims are asked by the fraudsters to not share any details with the financial institutions, and once the money leaves it's very difficult to recover. Nothing but shady and borderline criminal. My fiancé and I have been fighting with them for about a year now over lien releases on cars and motorcycles that we have paid them for in full. Even if you manage to pay off all your debt to them, they will NEVER give you the lien releases so you will never be able to sell anything that you finance through them. We will be hiring a lawyer.

Tried depositing a check online, but bank only allows $3000 in deposits online each month. I need money deposited for rent, so I go to this branch. Left my ID in the drive-they box during bank open hours. They told me I’d have to return the next day. I live 30 minutes away, so I was annoyed that no one would assist when the bank was still open. Drove the 30 mins back to pick it up and there 10 cars in the drive-thru. After waiting 15 mins with only one car leaving, I call the bank. They won’t help. Tell me to sit in the line. So now I’m out an hour of drive time and however long this line takes. I get that these are challenging times, but using common sense would help them serve customers better. Single mom, trying to keep up with work and homeschooling. I don’t have hours to waste dealing with something as simple as giving me my damn ID back.
