    I've been to all the banks in town. This bank is the only bank that wants you to sign your life away to cash a check on their own customers account. Finger print, Social security number. No one else in town requires that. It's like they don't want to let go of money that's not even theirs..So many good hometown banks in town...Maybe look elsewhere...

    Hi John, Thank you for your feedback. To deter fraud and protect our members’ accounts, we require a fingerprint for all non-members cashing checks. Per IRS requirements, all financial institutions require the social security number of the payee when cashing checks over $10,000.

    Wish I would have never got involved with this bank. I have been a member for years, and never had a single issues with my vehicle loan or accounts. Now that I’ve been out of work for months due to COVID complications with my asthma from service in Afghanistan, they want nothing to do with me. My representative Shannon today actually told me I need to “help myself” financially after trying to explain my issue and health problems. Also told me they offer no help until I’ve had a loan for over a year, which after checking my loan has been active over a year. When I get back on my feet, I will be refinancing with another reputable bank and ending all future contact with this crass, arrogant, and rude group.

    Whitefish CU has incredible customer service! That's why I moved my business accounts here, along with my home loan and personal accounts. Working specifically with folks like, Shawn Schmid and his assistant Ronda Palmer, has been a pleasure. Responsive, honest, hardworking is just the tip of the iceberg. Shawn has been an excellent guide through the mortage process for both personal and real-estate investment loans. I bank with WFCU because of folks like Shawn and Ronda! Thank You!

    Their drive through service is the most the inattentive and slowest service of any bank I've ever been too. I've read through other reviews on this same bank and they echo the same message. It seems petty but their drive through service and poor overall service has kept us from doing any business here for our two other businesses. We have a bill pay account that my husband has had forever that we will certainly be closing. We do business with Three Rivers Bank for all of our other needs ans receive far better service.

    I submitted an application for a personal loan for a hot tub purchase at the beginning of May 2021. On 5/4 employee Victoria Sutton was assigned to help me with the application. She was prompt for the first week and then ghosted me for a few days (she said she was ill). After that I kept having to chase after her for any updates, she kept apologizing saying she was out of the office unexpectedly or something came up. On 5/19 she said she would call me but did not. On 5/21 she apologized for not calling, giving another excuse and said she would call me Monday (which she failed to do). After weeks of chasing her she just me gave a curt email saying I need to put up collateral for the loan to get approval. This whole process has been excruciating and a total disappointment. This credit union either doesn't care about it's potential members or doesn't care about the caliber of employees it hires. I guess this is a blessing in disguise because there is NO WAY we would ever work with Victoria Sutton for any future banking needs.

    Where to begin- As a new business owner I decided to open up a bank at this branch thinking being a smaller bank I might have better customer service - WRONG. Their length on check holds (5 BUSINESS days for some checks) are far greater than other banks. On more than one occasion they ever named called me. If you call management they will hang up on you. Seriously. I was treated horribly and very disrespectfully and even yelled at for asking for my check back. I was curious why the longer than normal holds so I researched it a bid. One suggestion I found is banks receive a ton of interest from money you deposit. So making money off of their customers money. Interesting practice. I consistantly got varing information from them and now that I'm closing my account they said I would have to wait to get my money in the mail. Smaller banks are great but not this one. Strong suggestion that you use another one. I still wonder how they have not been shutdown yet.

    I thought about giving 2 stars because Stacy is very wonderful and I really liked her. But Vernell, the insurance lady, was not very helpful at all. She was rude when I spoke with her and gave me condescending information. And this is after flagging her down after leaving a voicemail 3 weeks ago. She never called me back and so I called the main branch today and I asked to speak with anyone in the insurance department because I haven't gotten a call back. She told me she was going to be connecting me with someone named Angie and then when I was connected someone said hello and I said yes hello and there was a long pause and I said hello? She said yes and I said is this Angie and she said no this is Vernell.. Like seriously? Way to answer the phone. Will be avoiding this bank from now on. Such a terrible experience today.

    The loan officer here is rude and condescending. She practically yells during her conversation and asks invasive questions that aren't relevant. It seemed like she thought I was lying to her when I wasn't and gave her no reason to think so. I can confidently say we will never do business here and encourage others to stay away.

    Was in and an older lady named Carol was my teller, super rude and condescending. Was not impressed with her, should not be working in customer service, tall thin guy is super nice and makes up for her.

    The wait at the drive up window is incredibly ridiculous! There are 3 lanes, get more tellers!!!! All lanes were backed up on to the street! Waited in line for over 45 minutes!!!
